Egypt's Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) signed a cooperation deal with Canada's Point North Company to modernise the AOI-run SEMAF factory and develop production lines, a statement by the AOI read. The AOI chief, General Abdel-Moneim El-Tarras, said the agreement aims to upgrade local production and localise railway trains manufacture through revamping the industrialisation and manufacturing capacities and human resources development of SEMAF.   El-Tarras added that Egypt will have a manufacturer at the highest level by October 2020.   The plan aims to develop SEMAF and upgrade its quality of products from railway and metro carriages and tractors manufacture in compliance with global standards. It also includes developing the factory's research and design sector and training its engineers and technical workforce domestically and abroad.   The upgrade will lead to increasing levels of productivity to 1,000 carriages, up from 300, yearly, eyeing the manufacture of tractors operating on diesel and electricity, El-Tarras added.   The AOI is also seeking to open up outlets in international markets, specifically Africa and the Arab region.   Point North officials praised the AOI expertise in its capacity to develop technologies, adding that the agreement aims to open up new prospects for cooperation with the AOI to meet the needs of Egypt's comprehensive development plans.

مدبولى من مصنع سيماف مستعدون لاستيعاب منتجات المصنع ضمن منظومة النقل الأحد، 19 يناير 2020 10:49 ص مدبولى من مصنع سيماف: مستعدون لاستيعاب منتجات المصنع ضمن منظومة النقل الدكتور مصطفى مدبولى رئيس مجلس الوزراء     كتبت هند مختار - تصوير سليمان العطيفى مشاركة   Share on facebook Share on twitter Share on facebook اضف تعليقاً واقرأ تعليقات القراء   قام الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي، رئيس مجلس الوزراء، بزيارة إلى مصنع مهمات السكك الحديدية "سيماف"، رافقه خلالها المهندس كامل الوزير، وزير النقل، والفريق عبد المنعم التراس، رئيس مجلس إدارة الهيئة العربية للتصنيع، وعدد من المسئولين، حيث قال الدكتور مصطفى مدبولى: تأتي الزيارة بهدف التعرف على خطة ومراحل تطوير المصنع، وخطوات رفع مستوى جودة منتجاته المتنوعة من عربات السكة الحديد، لأغراض البضائع، والركاب، والنوم، وتوليد القوى، وكذا عربات المترو، إلى مواصفات الجودة العالمية.   وخلال الزيارة تفقد رئيس الوزراء ومرافقوه مراحل الإنتاج المختلفة، لجميع منتجات عربات السكك الحديدية، ومترو الانفاق، وصعد إلى نموذج لعربة ركاب، وأخرى لتوليد القوى، من انتاج المصنع، وابدى ملاحظات حول الصورة النهائية للمنتج، وأكد مسئولو المصنع، أنه مع أعمال التطوير، سيكون المنتج النهائى عالى المستوى، كما زار المعرض المقام لعرض منتجات مصنع مهمات السكك الحديدية "سيماف"، وكذا منتجات مصانع الهيئة العربية للتصنيع العاملة فى مجال السكة الحديد والمترو، مثل: مصنع قادر، ومصنع  المحركات، ومصنع حلوان، ومصنع الاليكترونيات.   وأكد الفريق عبد المنعم التراس، رئيس الهيئة العربية للتصنيع، خلال الجولة، بأنه بحلول شهر أكتوبر 2020سيصبح لدينا مصنع على أعلى مستوى، يضاهي أفضل المصانع العالمية، وذلك مع إتمام أعمال التطوير التي تجري في مصنع سيماف.   وأشار الفريق التراس إلى أن الروح المعنوية لدى عمال المصنع مرتفعة جداً حالياً، ويملؤهم الحماس لمضاعفة العمل وزيادة الإنتاج، والإرتقاء بالمنتج النهائي، لتغطية الاحتياج المحلي، وفتح فرص للتصدير إلى الاسواق الخارجية.   من جانبه وعد رئيس الوزراء أنه مع انتهاء أعمال التطوير بمصنع "سيماف"، والوصول إلى إنتاج عالي المستوى من حيث الجودة واشتراطات الأمان، سواء في عربات السكك الحديدية أومترو الأنفاق، فإن الدولة ستكون مستعدة لاستيعاب منتجات المصنع ضمن منظومة النقل بها، دون اللجوء إلى استيراد أية عربة مرة أخرى، سواء عربات الركاب والبضائع، او عربات النوم وخلافه، فوزارة النقل ستشترى كل إنتاج المصنع مع وصوله للجودة المطلوبة لتطوير الخدمة وتحقيق سبل السلامة، وهناك تكليف من الرئيس بذلك.   واستمع رئيس الوزراء إلى شرح خلال الجولة حول خطة التطوير بمصنع سيماف، حيثُ أوضح اللواء اسماعيل نجدي، رئيس مجلس إدارة المصنع، أن المصنع تبلغ مساحته 150الف متر مربع، ويضم 36منشأة صناعية، وبه بنية تحتية للسكك الحديدية، بطول 15كم، مرتبطة بالشبكة القومية لسكك حديد مصر، الى جانب منطقة مجهزة لتنفيذ الإختبارات والتسليم.   وأشار إلى أن خطة التطوير تستهدف زيادة معدلات الإنتاج للمصنع من 300 عربة، إلى ألف عربة متنوعة سنوياً، إلى جانب تطوير قطاع البحوث والتصميم، ورفع مستوى المهندسين والكوادر الفنية بالمصنع، وتدريبهم خارجياً وداخلياً.   كما تم التأكيد على أن خطة التطوير لمصنع سيماف تتم بالإستعانة بإحدى الشركات العالمية، وذلك وفق رؤية تسعى لتغطية جميع مطالب وزارة النقل من عربات السكك الحديدية المختلفة، ومترو الأنفاق، والخروج إلى الأسواق الخارجية وخاصة في قارة إفريقيا والمنطقة العربية.   وسجل رئيس الوزراء كلمات تذكارية في دفتر كبار الزوار بمصنع "سيماف"، قال فيها: سعدت اليوم بزيارة مصنع "سيماف" لأول مرة، وأتمنى من الله أن أسعد بزيارته قريبا مرة أخرى، بعد أن يكون قد تم تطويره بأحدث المعدات والتقنيات التي تمكنه من إنتاج عربات القطارات والمترو التي تُضاهي مثيلاتها من العربات العالمية؛ لأن مصر قادرة بكوادرها البشرية أن تكون في مقدمة الدول في كافة المجالات.   وشهدت الزيارة عرض جانب من تاريخ وعمل المصنع، حيث تمت الإشارة إلى أن انشاء مصنع سيماف يرجع لعام 1958، حيث استطاع المصنع المشاركة في انتاج نسبة كبيرة من أسطول نقل الركاب والبضائع للسكة الحديد، وكذا اسطول مترو الانفاق، وجميع أنواع الترام بالقاهرة والإسكندرية.   ويشارك مصنع سيماف في إنتاجه أكثر من 340 مصنعا مغذيا للمكونات الداخلة في صناعة السكك الحديدية، وتستغرق عملية التطوير للمصنع نحو 10 أشهر يصل بنهايتها إلى الحصول على الرخصة الدولية في صناعة مهمات السكك الحديدية، والتي يشترط الحصول عليها للنفاذ إلى الأسواق العالمية من خلال تحقيق أعلى المواصفات العالمية .   Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, visited the Simaf railway mission factory, accompanied by Engineer Kamel Al-Wazir, Minister of Transport, Lieutenant General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and a number of officials. Head of the Arab Organisation for Industrialization Abdel-Moneim Altras pointed out to the importance of carrying out the directives of President AbdelFattah El-Sisi in applying  digital economy and providing the services of smart electronic trade in the African countries according to the high international standards. This came during his talks with Board of director of A-E Trade Group and representative of the African Union Mulualem Syoum  as well as many high ranking officials . Altras said that there is coordination between the two  sides in order to provide the services of electronic trade in the African countries pointing out that there is a Free trade African zone . He added that there is a study that aims at establishing an information centre in Egypt in order to achieve an additional value for the African market Altras added that it is important to exchange expertise to carry out the digital transformation process . Mulualem expressed his happiness for coordination with the Arab Organisation for  Industrialization due to its huge capabilities  that will enable the group to make many investments in Egypt .

According to an official statement by the Presidential spokesman; Ambassador Bassam Radi, during the meeting President El-Sisi and El-Terras discussed all developments related to the activities, plans and projects of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in various fields, as well as existing cooperation frameworks in this regard with a number of Arab and foreign countries. The Presidential Spokesman also stated that President El-Sisi called for continuity of all efforts of developing and modernizing the AOI in order to meet the requirements of the sustainable development plans in Egypt, and in line with the policy of achieving optimal utilization of resources and developing local industrialization. President El-Sisi also discussed with El-Terras recent AOI’s efforts to cooperate with various international companies and strengthening the industrial partnership with them as well as exchanging relevant experiences, including what contributes to the transfer and localization of technology in Egypt, in the context of the importance of the role played by the AOI in the field of industry and participation in the implementation of national and development projects in the country, as a national industrial institution qualified with Human potential and manufacturing base. On the other hand, Ambassador Bassam Radi said that the Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization presented during the meeting the latest researches and industrial projects in the civil and military fields, indicating that the organization is keen to apply the highest international quality standards and specifications in its production lines, so that its activity in civil manufacturing extends to the infrastructure sectors, especially in fields of transportation, cars, electric trains, electronics, information technology, smart systems, and renewable energy. General Abdel Moneim El-Terras also reviewed the existing partnership of the AOI with authorities in a number of Arab and foreign countries, besides opening of new frameworks for joint cooperation and exchange of experiences with it, in light of the capabilities of the AOI and the production of its factories of high-quality products.

The Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) signed on Thursday an MoU with the China North Industries Corporation (NORINCO) on technology localisation in Egypt.   Abdul-Meniem Al-Toras, the chairman of AOI, said that the MoU was signed as part of the AOI's ongoing plan to upgrade and improve its production with the latest technologies in different industries. He also added this cooperation between AOI and NORINCO would meet the needs of the Egyptian Armed Forces, as well as in upgrading the railway control and signalling systems. Chi Le, the representative of NORINCO in Egypt, said that his company is looking forward to cooperating with the AOI in different fields.

  Egypt's Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) has signed an MoU with the South Korean firm Gwangju Techno Park company to localise technology and boost investment opportunities between both countries. According to a statement issued by the AOI on Friday, the memorandum aims to increase the added value of industries that support comprehensive development plans, fill the importing gap and increase investment opportunities. AIO Chairman Abdel-Moneim El-Tarras stressed the importance of cooperation and partnership with international expertise in implementation of the directives of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi on localising technology and increasing the proportion of local components in manufacturing. "The area of cooperation includes trade exchange and technology localisation in fields of multi-purpose cars, home electronic devices, medical industries, health care, and renewable energy," said El-Tarras.
