Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly praised the Arab Organization for Industrialization's leadership in localizing the latest manufacturing technologies for electrical and electronic appliances and wood products, as well as the quality and affordability of its products. This came during the opening of the Arab Organization for Industrialization's exhibition at North Square Mall in New Alamein City, which featured products from the electronics factory and the ATICO Wood Industries Factory. The event was attended by Major General Eng,. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today with Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI). This training facility was established with advanced programs and a clear scientific vision, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to provide training for the future in the areas of automated management of manufacturing processes and digitization, in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 for Sustainable Development. The opening ceremony was attended by a number of officials and stakeholders from the industrial, technical education, and training sectors. During the opening ceremony of the AOI Academy For Welding and Joining , Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif expressed his pride in the AOI's cooperation with the International Welding Institute (IIW) in Italy, to ensure the best educational and training environment for trainees. He explained that The AOI Academy For Welding and Joining is internationally accredited by the IIW. He explained that we aim to prepare a new generation of technical personnel specialized in welding and assembly technology according to the highest international standards, and to grant accreditation certificates to trainees capable of innovation and creativity in manufacturing fields. Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), inspected the trial operation of the orthopedic supplies factory affiliated with the Arab African Medical Industries Company, a subsidiary of the AOI. He viewed the factory's first production of plates, screws, and artificial joints. This step comes in light of an ambitious strategic plan implemented by the AOI, based on scientific foundations and aimed at implementing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives regarding the transfer and localization of the latest global technologies in the medical industry under the slogan "Made in Egypt." In this context, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Arab Organization for Industrialization's Motor Factory and Menzel Electric Motors GmbH – one of the largest German companies specializing in the manufacture of electric motors. Mustafa El-Shemy, Chairman of Cairo Water Company ،and Eng.Mohamed Shehada, Regional Director of Menzel in the Middle East. Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, expressed his appreciation and pride in this cooperation with the German company Menzel, praising its global manufacturing expertise in the field of electric motors. He noted that this cooperation represents an important step for national industry, achieved by leveraging the distinguished manufacturing capabilities of the Digital Manufacturing Center at the Motor Factory. He explained that an agreement was reached to establish a local assembly line for electric motors at the Motor Factory to produce various types of low-, medium-, and high-voltage motors. He pointed out that an agreement was reached to increase the percentage of local components to reduce the cost of importing components used in this technologically advanced industry.

The Arab Organization for Industrialization is participating in the fourth edition of Africa Health ExCon ​​2025, from June 24 to 27, 2025, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center.

Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), received Mr. Iwai Fumio, Ambassador of Japan to Cairo, and his accompanying delegation. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation and partnerships and increasing investment opportunities in various manufacturing areas. This can be achieved by deepening and increasing local manufacturing rates and localizing technology, leveraging the manufacturing capabilities and expertise of the AOI and the distinguished Japanese industry experience in the fields of subway cars, automobiles, environmentally friendly transportation, electronics, digital transformation, software, communications, information technology, renewable energy, and various manufacturing fields.
