The Arab Organization for Industrialization is taking successful and ongoing steps to enhance cooperation with all governorates, considering it the optimal path to achieving comprehensive development. In this context, discussions were held between Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and Major General Dr. Hesham Abu El-Nasr, Governor of Assiut. The discussions addressed leveraging the Arab Organization for Industrialization's available manufacturing capabilities to meet all the needs of comprehensive development projects in Assiut Governorate. These include the manufacture and supply of vehicles for various advanced youth employment projects, infrastructure development, and environmental protection projects, including a solid waste and banana fiber waste recycling system, the manufacture of environmentally friendly ovens for charcoal production and agricultural waste machinery, water and sewage treatment and purification, environmentally friendly transportation, recycling of electronic devices and wood, and the development of mechanical equipment in the governorate's neighborhoods and centers, among other comprehensive development projects. The discussions also addressed the establishment of an exhibition for the Arab Organization for Industrialization's various products to meet all the needs of the governorate's residents at reasonable prices and with various installment plans. Furthermore, the discussions focused on providing training opportunities for technical workers at the Arab Organization for Industrialization's academies and training institutes. During the discussions, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif emphasized the Arab Organization for Industrialization's commitment to meeting and manufacturing all the needs of Assiut Governorate at competitive prices in accordance with international quality standards. He also highlighted the organization's support for environmental protection projects and various small and medium-sized enterprises. Major General Eng.Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), and Mr. Walid Gamal El-Din, Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone), witnessed today at the headquarters of the Suez Canal Economic Zone in the New Administrative Capital the signing ceremony of two new logistics projects with an Egyptian-Turkish alliance comprising the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the Egyptian company United Egy Group, the Turkish company Sigma Logistics and Containers, and the Turkish company Logi Trade. This alliance aims to establish the "Sigma Egypt" project, which will include the establishment of two areas to operate customs warehouses for the storage, handling, and repair of value-added containers. The project will span a total area of 100,000 square meters, 50,000 square meters of which will be located in Qantara West. This project will become 33 in the Qantara West Industrial Zone, and another 50,000 square meters in Sokhna, with investments totaling $4.2 million (equivalent to 203 million Egyptian pounds) fully self-financed, providing approximately 100 direct job opportunities. During the signing ceremony, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, expressed his appreciation for the fruitful cooperation with the Suez Canal Economic Zone and major Turkish companies, along with Egyptian private sector companies.
