Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim El-Terras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received Mr. Sergey Tirtentyev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Cairo.

During the meeting, the Arab Industrialization vision was presented on deepening local industrialization, transfer and localization of technology in many different areas of industry, including training, especially since there is joint cooperation between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences in the fields of training, scientific research and innovation.

They also discussed strengthening cooperation mechanisms in the field of defense and civil industries, including the fields of trucks, agricultural equipment, loaders, agricultural tractors, grain storage silos, engines, electronics, digital transformation processes and artificial intelligence, in addition to discussing the participation of Belarusian companies in national projects implemented by the state, including the modification of obsolete cars, especially microbuses, and their conversion. In this regard, the "Terrace" stressed the importance of implementing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to localize technology in cooperation with international expertise, pointing to the importance of investing in the depth and strength of relations between "Cairo and Minsk" through the Egyptian-Belarusian Committee and how to benefit from them to open new horizons for joint cooperation in the fields of Different manufacturing.

He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is looking forward to strengthening joint cooperation with major Belarusian companies, to deepen local manufacturing and increase the added value in the local industry, pointing to discussing more competitive opportunities for marketing joint production in the Egyptian, Arab and African markets.

For his part, "Sergey Tirtentyev" praised the tremendous capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, which encourages major Belarusian companies to cooperate and exchange experiences between them, stressing that this visit aims to discuss establishing new long-term joint partnerships in all areas of industry and training human cadres.

During his inspection of the Arab Organization for Industrialization Academy for Professional and Technical Training, the Ambassador of Belarus praised the modern training systems to qualify trained human cadres to serve all areas of industry in the fields of digital transformation, artificial intelligence, the Internet of things, and manufacturing systems according to the mechanisms of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Tertentyev also expressed his admiration for the quality of the local manufacture of the "Maz" heavy truck, which is manufactured in Egypt for the first time in cooperation with Bella Russia, and with high local manufacturing rates to meet the needs of the local market and export to African countries.
