Today, Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and Prof. Mahmoud El-Matini, President of Ain Shams University, witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and Ain Shams University. He signed the protocol on behalf of Ain Shams University, Prof. Ayman Saleh, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, and Major General Abdel Rahman Abdel Azim Othman, Director General of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, representing the Arab Organization for Industrialization, in the presence of Prof. Noha Samir Donia, Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Studies and Research at Ain Shams University, and a number of university professors.
Lieutenant-General Abdel-Moneim Al-Terras, head of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the implementation of the directives of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to achieve integration between universities, scientific research bodies and national industrial institutions in order to achieve the state’s plan to deepen local industrialization and settling modern technology in accordance with the mechanisms of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, noting that Arab Industrialization It puts all its capabilities, technological expertise and training centers to prepare a new generation of trained human cadres in accordance with Egypt's 2030 vision, as well as laying the foundations for scientific and research cooperation, training and technology transfer.
On the cooperation protocol with Ain Shams University, Al-Terras explained that the areas of cooperation aim to prepare a new generation of human cadres in the areas of productive quality, industrial environment and cleaner production for various industries, indicating that it was agreed to prepare and implement joint training plans in the fields of scientific research and application of technologies. In the field of environmental production, as well as participating in scientific seminars and conferences.
The Terrace also indicated that the areas of cooperation also include supporting research projects and applicable industrial innovations, organizing training courses in common areas, summer training programs in various engineering disciplines in the production and research units of the authority, and training human cadres in Arabic for manufacturing in specialized courses at the university, in addition to organizing field visits for students Engineering colleges for the various units of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.
He added that the Arab Industrialization puts all its manufacturing capabilities to meet all the needs of Ain Shams University, and implement digital transformation plans, artificial intelligence, and information and communication systems.
For his part, Dr. Mahmoud El-Matini expressed his confidence in the success of this cooperation, due to the continuous support provided by the Arab Organization for Industrialization to various scientific institutions in the fields of training and scientific research to transform research outputs into applied models that can be used in various industrial fields and qualify them for the labor market.
Al-Matini also stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with Arab Industrialization in the field of infrastructure to serve digital transformation plans, in accordance with the latest modern systems, especially with the authority's excellence in quality, accuracy and commitment to delivery times in accordance with international quality levels.
