Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, inspected the construction work of the Belqas plant for mechanical and biological treatment of solid waste in Belqas, Dakahlia Governorate. The plant is being implemented by the Arab British Company for Dynamic Industries, a subsidiary of the Arab Organization for Industrialization. (ABD) The event was attended by Major General Engineer Abdel Rahman Abdel Azim Othman, General Director of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), and Major General Eng.Yasser Attia, Chairman of the British company Arab Dynamic Industries (ABD), as well as a number of AOI leaders. This comes within the framework of the Kitchener Drain Water Quality Improvement Project (Solid Waste Program), funded by the European Union and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). In this context, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif praised the serious cooperation with the Ministry of Local Development and the EBRD in implementing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to continue efforts to activate the new municipal solid waste management system. This is in light of the utmost importance the state places on improving the environmental, health, and living conditions of citizens, reducing pollution rates, establishing a national waste management industry, and providing new job opportunities. He noted that the plan in place achieves sustainability and continuity and has positive repercussions on the state's sustainable development plan and Egypt's Vision 2030.

The Arab Organization for Industrialization is taking successful and ongoing steps to enhance cooperation with all governorates, considering it the optimal path to achieving comprehensive development. In this context, discussions were held between Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and Major General Dr. Hesham Abu El-Nasr, Governor of Assiut. The discussions addressed leveraging the Arab Organization for Industrialization's available manufacturing capabilities to meet all the needs of comprehensive development projects in Assiut Governorate. These include the manufacture and supply of vehicles for various advanced youth employment projects, infrastructure development, and environmental protection projects, including a solid waste and banana fiber waste recycling system, the manufacture of environmentally friendly ovens for charcoal production and agricultural waste machinery, water and sewage treatment and purification, environmentally friendly transportation, recycling of electronic devices and wood, and the development of mechanical equipment in the governorate's neighborhoods and centers, among other comprehensive development projects. The discussions also addressed the establishment of an exhibition for the Arab Organization for Industrialization's various products to meet all the needs of the governorate's residents at reasonable prices and with various installment plans. Furthermore, the discussions focused on providing training opportunities for technical workers at the Arab Organization for Industrialization's academies and training institutes. During the discussions, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif emphasized the Arab Organization for Industrialization's commitment to meeting and manufacturing all the needs of Assiut Governorate at competitive prices in accordance with international quality standards. He also highlighted the organization's support for environmental protection projects and various small and medium-sized enterprises. He also explained that cooperation with Assiut Governorate is achieved through deepening local manufacturing, utilizing available capabilities without burdening the state budget, and implementing projects according to planned schedules.

As part of the Arab Organization for Industrialization's commitment to enhancing constructive cooperation with all state institutions and the private sector, exchanging expertise, and providing distinguished institutional training for human resources, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Arab Court of Arbitration, affiliated with the League of Arab States. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Counselor Abdel Wahab Abdel Razek, Senate Speaker, and attended by Ambassador Mohamed Ahmed El-Naya, Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Economic Unity, and Mr. Ali Abdi Aware, Ambassador of Somalia to Cairo. During the signing ceremony, held at the headquarters of the Arab Court of Arbitration, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif expressed his appreciation and pride in this cooperation with the Arab Court of Arbitration, praising its expertise in commercial arbitration and local and international investment disputes. He pointed out that areas of cooperation include implementing joint training programs and courses for specialists in the fields of local, Arab, and international commercial arbitration and commercial contracts, as well as leveraging the capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in administrative, technical, and specialized training on modern technologies, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and information technology. He explained that the Arab Organization for Industrialization had early developed an ambitious plan to develop and enhance the skills of employees across all of the organization's factories and companies. This would contribute to implementing the institutional development and digitization plan to achieve sustainable resource management and enable them to maximize the use of artificial intelligence and modern digital tools in manufacturing, production, implementation, and project management. This is within the framework of implementing Egypt's Vision for Sustainable Development 2030. He noted that the organization has specialized training academies and institutes based on the latest software systems and Fourth Industrial Revolution standards.
