Successful and continuous steps to localize technology for medical devices, supplies and pharmaceutical raw materials in Egypt, in accordance with a clear vision pursued by the Arab Organization for Industrialization, to increase the proportion of the local component in medical industries and work to reduce imports and provide a distinguished Egyptian product in accordance with international quality standards. Among these successful steps is the signing of a joint manufacturing contract to localize the manufacture of raw materials for the pharmaceutical and food industries between the Arab African Company for Medical Industries, affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and in cooperation with the private sector, represented by iPharma Medical Devices Company (L.L.C).

Within the framework of the Arab Organization for Industrialization’s interest in the issue of climate change and environmental protection, it organized today at the AOI’s headquarters a scientific symposium called (Defining Developments in the Voluntary Carbon Market). Major General. Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and Engineer Abdel Rahman Abdel Azim Othman, Director General of the Organization, were invited to participate in attending this distinguished scientific symposium in its treatment of this important issue, in light of the growing concern about climate change and its negative effects, which have led to To increase the use of voluntary carbon markets as a means of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

In implementation of the directives of Major General . Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, to localize technology, deepen local manufacturing, attract investments, and strengthen partnerships with major international companies, and activate these directives with real tangible steps in all of the AOI’s factories and companies.

Based on the leadership of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in deepening local manufacturing and localizing the latest manufacturing technologies, the AOI was keen to participate in the activities of the Deepening Local Industrialization of Engineering Industries Exhibition. Organized by the Chamber of Engineering Industries and held at the exhibition grounds of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency, during the period from January 13-15.

Based on its important role in strengthening trade relations and attracting investments to the Egyptian market in various promising industrial sectors, Major General  Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, held important discussions with the delegation of the Kuwait Public Authority for Industries, headed by Dr. Sanad Abdullah Al-Ajmi. And the accompanying delegation, which includes the Federation of Kuwaiti Industries and a number of (11) of the largest companies in the sisterly State of Kuwait, which work in many promising industries of common interest, and in the presence of His Excellency Ambassador Ghanem Saqr Al-Ghanem, Ambassador of the sisterly State of Kuwait in Cairo.

To manufacture refrigerator containers loaded on train platforms or transport vehicles designated for cooling and freezing up to (-40) degrees Celsius, a capacity of (40) feet, and a freezing capacity of 25 tons/container, using the latest scientific methods.
