Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, welcomed the visit of a delegation from the Senate Energy, Environment and Manpower Committee to the Electronics Factory, one of the Arab Organization for Industrialization's factories.
He praised the role played by the Egyptian Parliament, which is witnessing a strong start towards achieving the goals of the new republic with new thinking and a conscious mind.
Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, was keen to open an open dialogue with the delegation of the Senate Committee on Energy, Environment and Manpower, headed by Deputy Engineer Osama Kamal, where he referred to the historical role of the Organization, that giant industrial edifice founded on Egyptian soil in 1975, with the participation of three sister Arab countries, namely the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the State of Qatar, to serve as a strong Arab industrial shield in the field of various defense industries. He highlighted the development of its activities throughout its history, until the Authority currently owns fourteen factories and companies operating in various defense and civil industries, and has become an industrial edifice whose manufacturing and technological capabilities are no less than those of major global industrial institutions.
He stated that the Arab Organization for Industrialization aims to modernize and develop technology in order to achieve the goals of the new republic and set a clear strategy to attract investment and enhance cooperation and partnership with local and international government and private sector entities, especially given the flexibility afforded to the organization by its international regulations.
He reviewed its pivotal role in meeting the needs of Arab and African brothers in the defense and civil industries, as well as its plan to deepen and increase local manufacturing rates and transfer and localize modern technology in partnership with major international companies in many industrial fields, including, for example, defense industries, cash-in-transit vehicles, renewable energy, the green economy, communications, electronics, tablets, digital transformation, medical industries, water purification plants , sanitation, railways, subways, environmental protection projects, water and energy conservation, office furniture, and other areas of comprehensive development.
He also touched on the Arab Organization for Industrialization's participation in the presidential initiative “HAYAH KAREEMA” saying that it is a golden opportunity to localize industry and rely on local products in implementing various projects for our people in rural Egypt, providing job opportunities for the local community, and providing basic services in Egyptian villages in a modern and appropriate manner.
He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization established the June 30 Factory for polyethylene pipes, equipped with various diameters and connections that are relied upon by infrastructure projects, drinking water purification and sewage treatment plants, and canal lining. He pointed out that the Authority has a digital manufacturing center for various industries in accordance with the standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, noting the Arab Organization for Industrialization's interest in localizing the manufacture of various types of pumps.
He also explained the Arab Organization for Industrialization's interest in implementing digital transformation projects for all institutions and ministries in the state, in addition to the Arab Organization for Industrialization undertaking the project of furnishing and equipping the government district buildings and the House of Representatives and Senate in the new capital.
He noted that the Arab Organization for Industrialization has developed an ambitious plan that is being successfully implemented in all of the organization's factories and companies, consisting of two main areas. The first axis is to develop and modernize all manufacturing machines to operate with a digital control system. The second axis is to train and qualify human cadres in all specializations in line with manufacturing, production, quality, and management systems.
He added that the AOI attaches great importance to cooperation with universities and scientific research centers and supports the implementation of ideas from innovators and inventors that are industrially viable, noting its keenness to implement the state's plan to achieve industrial integration with various companies and industrial institutions, both government and private sector.

, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif affirmed that the Authority attaches great importance to increasing local manufacturing rates and reducing imports, in line with the state's plan to localize the latest technologies in the electronics and communications industry, explaining that partnerships with the private sector are a fundamental pillar for driving national manufacturing and achieving sustainable development. The Senate Energy, Environment, and Workforce Committee delegation expressed their admiration for the factory's products, including tablets, surveillance cameras, electronic screens, and others, expressing their appreciation for the Arab Organization for Industrialization's success in modernizing production lines in a manner befitting the new republic. They observed how the digitized machines manufacture electronic devices in accordance with international quality standards, achieving a secure digital transformation that targets a better return on investment, increases production efficiency and quality, controls costs, and deepens and increases the proportion of local components and technology localization.
