Discussions to open new horizons of cooperation between the AOI and the Hungarian Defense Industries Authority

 

Major General, Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received a delegation of senior officials of the Hungarian Defense Industries Authority, in the presence of Mr András Kovács., Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary in Cairo.

 

The talks dealt with discussing opening new horizons of cooperation and partnerships, by taking advantage of the distinguished manufacturing capabilities of the Arab Industrialization Company, and the expertise enjoyed by the Hungarian industry in the field of defense industries.

 

In this regard, Major General A. Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif" on the importance of cooperation and partnership with international expertise, in implementation of the directives of President "Abdel Fattah El-Sisi" on the importance of localizing modern technology and increasing the proportions of the local component and the added value in the various defense industries.

 

He explained that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is looking forward to enhancing joint cooperation and increasing investment and partnership opportunities with the Hungarian defense industries delegation in various fields of defense industries, referring to the discussion of forming a joint technical committee for coordination to enhance cooperation in issues of common interest.

 

For their part, senior officials of the delegation of the Hungarian Defense Industries Authority praised the advanced manufacturing capabilities that the Arab Organization for Industrialization possesses, and its ambitious vision to increase the proportions of local manufacturing and localize technology, stressing that we aim with these discussions to study joint partnerships in many fields of defense industries.

 

In his turn, Mr. " András Kovács    ", the Ambassador of Hungary in Cairo, affirmed that the Egyptian market is attractive to Hungarian investments and constitutes a strategic importance for the African and Arab regions, pointing to the keenness of major Hungarian companies and their aspiration to cooperate and establish partnerships with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state, in all fields of multiple industries, especially There is a distinguished and historical cooperation between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and major Hungarian companies in many fields of industry
