Major General. Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman  of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Mr. "Georgi Borisenko", Russia's Ambassador to Cairo, on a visit that reflects the vision of the Organization to open new horizons of cooperation and partnerships with all international expertise.

During the meeting, the vision of the Arab Organization for Industrialization was presented regarding deepening and increasing the rates of local manufacturing and the transfer and localization of technology in many different fields of industry, including the training of human cadres.

The talks also dealt with discussing partnerships, by taking advantage of the industrial capabilities of Arab Industrialization and the Russian industry’s expertise in the field of defense industries, railways, automobile industry, environmentally friendly means of transportation, agricultural tractors, furniture, silos, agricultural equipment, renewable energy, water treatment plants, medical industries, electronics, information and communication technology and multiple manufacturing fields.

In this regard, Mokhtar Abdel Latif explained that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is looking forward to enhancing joint cooperation, increasing investment opportunities and partnership with major Russian companies in new industrial fields and implementing development projects, by deepening and increasing local manufacturing rates, increasing the added value in the local industry and reducing imports. Pointing to the study of increasing marketing opportunities for joint products in the markets of African and Arab countries.

For his part, Mr. "Georgi Borisenko", Russia's ambassador to Cairo, affirmed that the Egyptian market is attractive to Russian investments and constitutes strategic importance for the African and Arab regions, pointing to the keenness of major Russian companies and their aspiration to cooperate and establish partnerships with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state, in all fields of multiple industries. , especially that there is a distinguished and historical cooperation between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and major Russian companies in many fields of industry.

He added that the relations with Egypt allow for the development of the multifaceted partnership between the two countries, given that Egypt is one of our most important partners in the African region and the Arab world.
