The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation and leveraging the organization's expertise to meet the needs of the sisterly Republic of Zimbabwe in the medical industry with the latest products at competitive prices.
The Zimbabwean Minister also expressed his admiration for the establishment of the Arab-Chinese Medical Industries Company, a partnership between the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) and the Chinese medical device company XGY, as an important step towards localizing the medical industry, including diagnostic and therapeutic radiology devices as a first stage, and in the future, all fields and specialties of medical devices, in accordance with international quality standards.
In a related context, the participating delegations expressed their admiration for the advanced technical capabilities of the medical products produced by the Arab Organization for Industrialization, including artificial joints, medical plates and screws, safety syringes, surgical sutures, operating capsules, telemedicine devices, baby incubators, medical beds, CT and MRI scanners, and medical clinic equipment.
