The Arab Organization for Industrialization's successful efforts continue to strengthen partnerships with major international companies, in line with a clear vision pursued by the organization to attract investment, meet local market needs, and open new export outlets, in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 for Sustainable Development.

In this context, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Arab Organization for Industrialization's Motor Factory and   Menzel  Electric Motors GmbH – one of the largest German companies specializing in the manufacture of electric motors.

During the signing ceremony, which was attended by Major General Assem Shukr, Vice Chairman of the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater,

Eng.Mustafa El-Shemy, Chairman of Cairo Water Company

and Eng. Mohamed Shehada, Regional Director of Menzel in the Middle East.

Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, expressed his appreciation and pride in this cooperation with the German company Menzel, praising its global manufacturing expertise in the field of electric motors.

He noted that this cooperation represents an important step for national industry, achieved by leveraging the distinguished manufacturing capabilities of the Digital Manufacturing Center at the Motor Factory.

He explained that an agreement was reached to establish a local assembly line for electric motors at the Motor Factory to produce various types of low-, medium-, and high-voltage motors.

He pointed out that an agreement was reached to increase the percentage of local components to reduce the cost of importing components used in this technologically advanced industry.

 He pointed out that the components of this industry's technologies are designed and manufactured according to international quality standards and at competitive market prices, which will contribute to meeting the needs of the local market and reducing reliance on imports, while working to open export outlets to foreign markets.

For his part, Eng. Mathis Menzel   , General Manager of Menzel Electric Motors Ltd., expressed his appreciation for this cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state. He expressed his aspiration to localize the latest electric motor manufacturing technologies to meet all the needs of the local Egyptian market, as well as African and Arab countries, and to work to open new export outlets to the global market.

He pointed out that this cooperation will represent a significant addition to the Egyptian economy, especially as we will work to design and produce electric motors using the national manufacturing capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization's motor factory, in accordance with the latest international quality standards.
