The Arab Organization for Industrialization is one of the leading entities in Egypt, taking an early interest in technology localization and deepening local manufacturing in the field of information and communications technology (ICT) and digital transformation.
In this context, a cooperation protocol was signed between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and Digitize Investment and Technology Company.
During the signing ceremony, which was witnessed by Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and Dr. Eng. Ahmed Darwish, former Minister of Administrative Development,
the Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization expressed his appreciation for this cooperation with Digitize Investment and Technology Company, praising its expertise in the field of ICT.
He explained that the agreed-upon areas of cooperation include participation in the implementation of national projects for digital transformation and communications infrastructure in Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East, leveraging the advanced manufacturing capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization and its trained human resources, in accordance with the latest global technologies in this field.
He explained that in the first phase of this cooperation, we aim to implement and maintain national communications infrastructure projects for fiber optics, 5G communications, and data centers, as well as localize the fiber optic network supplies industry, in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 for Sustainable Development.
He added that an agreement was reached to produce, market, and sell communications and information technology services to institutions, agencies, government entities, and the private sector, in addition to providing installation, operation, and maintenance services for national communications and information technology projects, meeting the needs of the local market and exporting to sisterly and friendly countries, in accordance with international quality standards and at competitive market prices.
For his part, Dr. Eng. Ahmed Darwish, Former Minister of Administrative Development and member of the Board of Directors of Digitize for Investment and Technology, expressed his appreciation for this cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state. He expressed his aspiration to implement national projects for digital transformation and communications infrastructure in Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East, leveraging the AOI's distinguished manufacturing capabilities to meet all the needs of the local market and African and Arab countries, while working to open new export outlets to the global market.
For his part, Eng. Yousry Atlam, Chairman of Digitize for Investment and Technology, indicated that this cooperation will represent a significant addition to the Egyptian economy, especially as we will work to localize the manufacture of fiber optic network supplies using the AOI's national manufacturing capabilities, in accordance with the latest international quality standards.
