Signing a cooperation contract between the AOI and the French Safran Engines Group In the field of overhaul, repair, maintenance and manufacturing of aircraft engine spare parts

The status and pioneering role of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in localizing the latest manufacturing technologies in the defense industries was a strong incentive for major international companies to cooperate and establish partnerships with them.

  In this context, a joint cooperation agreement was signed today between the Engines Factory of the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the French Engines SAFRAN Group of Companies, which was signed on behalf of the AOI  by Major General Engineer Gamal Ramadan, Chairman of the Engines Factory’s Board of Directors.

Under this agreement, the engine factory affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrialization is the only body approved and licensed globally by the company producing the engine, to perform overhaul, maintenance, repair and manufacture spare parts for the LARZAC engine installed on the Alpha Jet aircraft.

This came within the framework of the activities of the third day of Arab Industrialization’s successful participation in the EDEX 2023 exhibition.

In this context, Major General. Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, expressed his appreciation for the cooperation with the French Safran Engines group of companies, and its excellence in the production and manufacture of aircraft engines.

He explained that the areas of cooperation relate to the areas of overhaul, repair, maintenance and manufacturing of aircraft engine spare parts by taking advantage of the advanced manufacturing capabilities of the engine factory of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

He pointed out that we look forward to the factories of the Arab Organization for Industrialization being a hub for enhancing aspects of cooperation, partnership and exchange of experiences with the Safran Group of French Engines companies, to meet all local needs and for brotherly and friendly countries.

For his part, Mr. Christophe BRUNEAU, Executive Vice President of the French Safran Engines Group, expressed his pride in cooperating and concluding partnerships with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the leader in many defense industries in the Arab and African region, pointing out that Safran has strict quality requirements and this is achieved in the Arab Engines Factory. For manufacturing.

It is noteworthy that the French Safran Engines Group toured the engine factory and inspected the advanced manufacturing capabilities.
