Major General Eng . Mohamed Abd Elfatah Abo Bakr , Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), inspected the electronics factory. During the visit, he reviewed ongoing projects, future project plans, and efforts to upgrade production lines in accordance with state-of-the-art manufacturing systems.
He inspected the latest production lines—equipped to the highest international standards for manufacturing electronic devices, as well as mobile phone and computer accessories—and commended the outstanding quality of the products being manufactured. He noted the AOI's aim to make these products an economical and sustainable choice for Egyptian consumers—without compromising on quality or durability—while opening new horizons for the national electronics industry. He emphasized the necessity of offering these products at competitive prices to meet the needs of Egyptian families.
The AOI Chairman also took the opportunity to speak with the factory’s engineers, technicians, workers, and administrative staff, listening to their ideas for improving production lines and highlighting the importance of adhering to occupational safety protocols. During the visit, the Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) met with a group of young innovators representing success stories of collaboration and partnership with the Electronics Factory. Several specialized solutions in medical artificial intelligence were presented, including a specialized medical language model capable of analyzing doctor-patient conversations and extracting clinical information.
AI-based solutions were also showcased for the design and manufacture of sensors, field control units, and software serving the agricultural sector—ranging from open-field farms and center-pivot irrigation systems to greenhouses. These solutions enable real-time monitoring of soil, climate, and water conditions; remote irrigation control; optimization of water and energy consumption; and fault detection.
Additionally, the "TACT Panel"—an interactive display combining the capabilities of a television and an interactive screen into a single product—was presented. This product is designed to meet the diverse needs of educational institutions and businesses at competitive prices.
Egyptian-made smart home appliances—such as refrigerators, water heaters, and air conditioners—were also showcased. These feature locally designed and manufactured electronic control boards, allow for remote user control via mobile apps, possess self-monitoring capabilities, and include a remote technical support system for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Following the presentation of these innovations and industrially viable concepts, the AOI Chairman expressed his pride in and appreciation for these promising, ambitious young Egyptians. He encouraged them to continue their journey of success and excellence, urging them to take concrete, successful steps toward implementing their innovations to serve the industrial sector and advance smart education and training methods. He emphasized the Arab Organization for Industrialization’s (AOI) welcome and full support for all innovators and inventors, as well as its commitment to helping implement serious innovations that advance the cause of scientific research.
At the conclusion of his tour, the AOI Chairman expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the organization's private-sector partners and to all employees for their sincere, fruitful, and outstanding efforts.
