Based on the leadership of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in localizing the latest manufacturing technologies for various defense industries, the AOI  was keen to participate in the activities of the International Defense Industries Exhibition “EDEX 2023” in its third session, which is organized by the Armed Forces under the patronage of His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, during the period During the period from 4 to 7 December 2023, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in the Fifth

Settlement.

The pavilion of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, which participates in the official pavilion of the Arab Republic of Egypt, is distinguished by the latest technologies and products in the defense industries, as it participates with 45 diverse products that include:

Ammunition, missiles, electronic equipment and aircraft

In order to maximize the slogan (Made in Egypt) and to benefit from the advanced manufacturing capabilities and capabilities and the brilliant minds of its human cadres, the Authority presents its latest defense products, including:

First: Air munitions (Hafez family), which are free bombs weighing up to (2000 pounds), with the ability to penetrate reinforced concrete up to (180 cm), and they were produced in cooperation with the Egyptian Air Force.

Second: The multi-tasking mobile automated command and control center to control the forces’ combat operations and secure the airspace, borders and important installations. The center is 100% Egyptian designed and manufactured.

Third: There is an armored riot control vehicle (Qadir-1). The vehicle was produced in the Authority’s factories for the first time in Egypt with a level of protection (B4) and impedance up to (7.62 Implementing any equipment according to the client’s desire.

Fourth: As for the system for confronting drones and electronic obstruction, it was carried out in cooperation with the technical research crews of the Air Defense Command and the Electronic Warfare Department, where systems for detecting and countering drones were designed and manufactured up to the tactical level.

In cooperation with the Electronic Warfare Department, a device for countering drones was produced to secure naval vessels at different ranges, as well as wireless reconnaissance and obstruction devices in the different frequency range.

Fifth: There is a new Egyptian radiological detection and measurement device, which is considered the result of cooperation between chemical warfare and the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and for the first time in Egypt such devices have been manufactured, as

Two models were produced: one of them serves military uses up to the sub-unit level and its equivalent, and the other serves the civilian sectors at ports, border crossings and airports for radiological detection of imports.

Sixth: Cooperation with the French company Dassault was strengthened

To produce some aircraft parts that were manufactured within the factories of the Arab Organization for Industrialization for Dassault

This is a qualifying step to enter the global supply chain system for the aircraft industry. One of these parts was presented by the French company Dassault at the La Bourges exhibition in France, and this field will continue strongly with other international companies.
