To Establish the Arab-Chinese Company for Medical Industries.

This took place on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of the fourth edition of the African Medical Conference and Exhibition
"Africa Health ExCon2025"
under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and organized by the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement
from June 24-27, 2025. At the Egypt International Exhibition Center, under the theme "Innovation and Independence: Harnessing Artificial Intelligence and Local Manufacturing to Strengthen African Healthcare Systems."
This cooperation is one of the successful and ongoing steps taken by the Arab Organization for Industrialization to localize technology, increase local manufacturing rates, reduce imports, increase added value in various industries, and attract investments in partnership with major international companies.
During the signing ceremony, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif expressed his appreciation and pride in this partnership with the Chinese global company XGY, praising its technical expertise in manufacturing medical devices.
He noted that this cooperation is part of Egypt's Vision 2030 for Sustainable Development.
He indicated that an agreement was reached to establish a joint company to localize medical industries, including diagnostic and therapeutic radiology devices, as a first phase, leveraging the distinguished manufacturing capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.
He emphasized the need to increase the percentage of local components to reduce the cost of importing components used in this technologically advanced industry.
He also noted that the technical components of this industry are being designed and manufactured locally. Within the Arab Organization for Industrialization, achieving, for the first time, the localization of this vital industry in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
He explained that areas of cooperation include implementing specialized training programs for engineers and technicians working at the planned Arab-Chinese Medical Industries Company, along with the provision of maintenance services and spare parts.
He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is keen to establish fruitful strategic partnerships and looks forward to strengthening cooperation with the global Chinese company in the field of manufacturing all fields and specialties of medical devices according to international quality standards under the slogan "Made in Egypt." This will also increase marketing opportunities for medical industries, contributing to meeting local market needs and reducing reliance on imports, while opening up export prospects to African, Arab, and global markets at competitive market prices.
For his part, Dr. Dajian Gao, Chairman of XGY Company, expressed his pride in cooperating with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state, stressing that this cooperation reflects the great confidence in the organization's capabilities and advanced manufacturing capabilities.
He explained that XGY Medical Devices looks forward to fully transferring technology to Egypt and partnering with With the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) to establish a joint venture to localize all medical industries, contributing to enhancing joint cooperation and opening export outlets, taking advantage of the successful investment advantages of the Egyptian economy.
In a related context, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdelltif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI), and Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, in the presence of Dr. Hisham Abu Steit, Chairman of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, visited the AOI exhibition (the pavilion of the Arab African Medical Industries Company). His Excellency reviewed the capabilities and potential of the KF-PRO digital pathology device, which forms the core of the National Remote Digital Pathology Network (NRDPN). All technical studies and planning have been completed, and the first phase is planned to begin implementation this year.
The device will also be marketed at the exhibition as part of pioneering African cooperation in the field of healthcare.
During the tour, they expressed their admiration for the products of the Arab African Medical Industries Company and the Arab British Dynamic Industries Company. (ABD) and Kader Advanced Industries Factory, affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, display a wide range of medical products produced by the Arab Organization for Industrialization, including artificial joints, medical plates and screws, safety syringes, surgical sutures, operating capsules, telemedicine devices, baby incubators, medical beds, CT and MRI scanners, and medical clinic equipment.
