Cooperation protocol between Arab Industrialization and October 6 University

Lieutenant General "Abdel Moneim El-Terras", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the importance of implementing the directives of President "Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi" to promote digital transformation and electronic mechanization for all educational and governmental institutions, explaining that AOI puts all its capabilities and technological expertise to manage all the needs of the faculties and research centers of 6 October University .

 

This came during the signing of the cooperation protocol between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and October 6 University, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, and Dr. Jamal Sami Ali, President of October 6 University.

 

The signing of this protocol comes within the framework of the Arab Industrialization strategy to enhance cooperation with educational and research institutions, as well as laying the foundations for scientific and research cooperation, training and technology transfer.

 

In this regard, the "terrace" explained that it was agreed to meet the needs of 6 October University in many areas, including digital transformation, electronic mechanization, various educational aids, computers, laboratories, electronic display screens, surveillance camera systems, administrative and educational furniture, solar stations, energy-saving systems, smart water saver systems and devices. Sports bicycles, electronics, medical devices and supplies, medical and hazardous waste incinerators, environmental protection equipment and many fields to serve the university's development plans and strategies.

The "Terrace" also indicated that the fields of cooperation also include training, holding competitions, exhibitions, joint scientific, research and innovative forums, facilitating patent registration, supporting research projects and applicable industrial innovations to serve the various manufacturing sectors, and organizing training courses in common areas and summer training programs in various engineering disciplines in production and research units. Affiliated to the authority and training human cadres in Arabic for industrialization in specialized courses at the university, in addition to organizing field visits for students of engineering colleges to the various units of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

In this context, "Al-Terras" stated that Arab Industrialization has promoted digital transformation in the universities of Benha, Assiut, Suez Canal and Sadat, referring to the participation in equipping new private and technological universities in new cities, including King Salman, Al-Alamein, Al-Galala, New Mansoura, the National Academy for Training and the Delta University for Science and Technology.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr expressed his confidence in the success of this cooperation, due to the continuous support provided by the Arab Organization for Industrialization to various scientific institutions in the fields of training and scientific research to convert research outputs into applied models that can be used in various industrial fields and qualify them for the labor market.

For his part, Dr. Jamal Sami Ali stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with Arab Industrialization in the field of infrastructure in order to serve the plans of digital transformation, according to the latest modern systems, especially with the authority with quality, accuracy and commitment to delivery dates in accordance with international quality levels
