Chairman of the AOI Discusses Strengthening Cooperation in All Manufacturing Sectors with the Chief of Defence Staff of the Republic of The Gambia

 

Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received  H.E  Lieutenant General Mamat Cham, Chief of Defence Staff of the Republic of The Gambia, and his accompanying delegation.

 

During the visit, they discussed strengthening cooperation mechanisms and leveraging the advanced capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to meet the needs of development projects and the defense and security industries in the Republic of The Gambia. They also identified proposed areas of cooperation between the two sides in various manufacturing sectors.

 

In this regard, the Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with African countries and implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to open new horizons for cooperation and integration with African nations in all industrial and economic fields, and to create new export markets in Africa.

 

He expressed his pride in the strong relations between the two countries and the importance of continued coordination and joint action, as well as strengthening cooperation by opening new avenues in all areas of the defense and security industries. He also noted the Arab Organization for Industrialization's interest in participating in development projects in the sisterly Republic of The Gambia.

 

During his visit to the Arab Organization for Industrialization's product exhibition, the Chief of Defence Staff of the sisterly Republic of The Gambia affirmed his country's keenness to enhance partnership and cooperation with the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt in all industrial and developmental fields. He expressed his appreciation for this visit to the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial arm of the Egyptian state, and emphasized the importance of coordinating efforts to achieve integration and localize the latest manufacturing technologies in various industrial sectors.
