Mrs. Nevin Gamea, Minister of Trade and Industry, held an extensive meeting to prepare for the Egyptian participation as a guest of honor in the 25th session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which will be held in Russia next June.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Khaled El-Anany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, along with Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Ambassador Ihab Nasr, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Affairs, Eng. Yahya Zaki, President of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone, and Eng. Ghada Labib Deputy Minister of Communications, Information Technology and Institutional Development, and Mr. Hatem Al-Ashry, advisor to the Minister of Trade and Industry for institutional communication, in addition to the participation of commercial advisor Yasser Mostafa, head of the Egyptian Commercial Office in Russia, via video conference technology.

The Terrace pointed out the importance of the Egyptian participation in the forum based on the areas of greatest interest between the two countries, especially the fields of new and renewable energy, transport, tourism and the Russian industrial zone in Egypt.
