Discussions of the Chairman of Arab Industrialization, and the Libyan Minister of Industry and Minerals

Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras, Chairman  of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received Mr. Ahmed Abu Hessa, the Libyan Minister of Industry and Minerals, and the accompanying delegation, to discuss enhancing investment opportunities and joint cooperation, and benefiting from the capabilities of Egyptian institutions, primarily Arab industrialization, the state’s industrial back-up to localize modern technology and train cadres. In the framework of the joint talks, it was agreed to benefit from all the experiences of the Egyptian institutions to participate in the plans for the reconstruction and development of Libya and to achieve joint integration for the exchange of industrial experiences and the transfer of the modern Egyptian experience to deepen local industrialization and the settlement of technology to the Libyan brothers, and it was also agreed to send technical experts from the Arab Authority For industrialization to raise the efficiency and restart the suspended Libyan factories.

 

During his inspection of the exhibition of Arab products for industrialization, Mr. Ahmed Abu Hessa affirmed his country's keenness to strengthen partnership and cooperation relations with Egypt as a leading country in the Arab nation, praising the manufacturing and technical capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the richness and diversity of its defense and civil products, and modernizing its production lines according to the latest digital transformation systems. Artificial intelligence, and human cadres trained according to the latest modern training systems.

He added that his country is looking forward to the Arab Industrialization's participation in the development and reconstruction projects that Libya is currently witnessing, especially in the field of electricity production from solar energy, as Libya enjoys vast unexploited desert areas, as well as cooperation in the field of communications, electronics, digital transformation, infrastructure and water purification plants. Abu Hessa indicated the Libyan side's keenness to develop bilateral relations, welcome Egyptian investors in all fields, exploit untapped Libyan energies and wealth, and discuss long-term joint partnerships with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, in all fields of industry, training and development of skills of human cadres, digital transformation, information transfer and participation. In implementing development projects in the State of Libya in accordance with international quality standards, expressing his wishes to the Egyptian people for further progress and prosperity.

 

In this context, Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras stressed the importance of implementing the mandates of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi to enhance cooperation and integration with sisterly Libya and all Arab brothers, explaining that these discussions come within the framework of the constants of Egyptian policy with full support towards the sister country of Libya to overcome all the challenges that it faces. confront it, and maintain the security and stability of the Libyan people.

Al-Terrace explained that the Arab Organization for Industrialization puts all its capabilities and technical and technological expertise to meet the needs of our brothers and participate in development projects in the State of Libya.

The "Terrace" stated that the proposed aspects of cooperation between the two sides were reviewed in all different fields of industry, pointing to the importance of participating in reconstruction and development projects and operating the suspended Libyan factories, as well as providing training in many fields and qualifying Libyan technical cadres in factories and training centers in Arabic for industrialization.

 

The visit also included a visit to the training academy of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, where the Libyan minister was briefed on the systems for training and qualifying human cadres in all fields of industry, administration, information systems, communication technology, smart automated management mechanisms, and training on programmed machines, in accordance with the standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The Libyan delegation also inspected the electronics factory of the Arab Industrialization, where they inspected the production lines of tablets, computers, interactive screens, electronic devices, surveillance cameras and other requirements of advanced smart electronic devices.
