Deepening local manufacturing and localizing technology are strategic goals, which the Arab Organization for Industrialization attaches special importance to, and in which it achieves continuous successful steps by enhancing cooperation and partnerships and attracting investments, within the framework of Egypt's vision for sustainable development 2030.
In this context, a cooperation protocol was signed between the organization's SEMAF factory and National Egyptian Railway Industries Company (NERIC)
During the signing ceremony, Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, expressed his appreciation for the cooperation with the National Egyptian Railway Industries Company (NERIC) , stressing the importance of this integration to support the railway and metro system, due to its positive impact on the national industry and the Egyptian economy and reducing imports
He explained that we aim to form a joint alliance that meets the demands of the Ministry of Transport for advanced products bearing the slogan "Made in Egypt", through participating in projects that require the supply of mobile units and their components, which are being implemented inside and outside the Arab Republic of Egypt in accordance with international standards and serve the state's plan to localize the industry and the development plan. He stated that the SEMAF factory, a pioneer in the railway industries, has succeeded in increasing the rates of local manufacturing and localizing the latest manufacturing technologies in the railway and metro industries, and recently obtained the certificate of quality management systems in the railway industries

Noting that this certificate opens new horizons of partnerships with major international companies and increases marketing opportunities and entering new markets by obtaining new contracts internationally, and attracting investments in the field of railway and metro industries and smart transportation.
For his part, Engineer Karim Sami Saad, a member of the Board of Directors of the National Egyptian Railway Industries Company (NERIC) expressed his pride in cooperating with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backer of the state, noting its distinction in completing all areas of cooperation with the required efficiency and the highest levels of quality and speed of implementation and delivery within the specified times, in addition to maintenance and after-sales service. He added that this cooperation will represent a great addition to the Egyptian economy, especially since we will work on designing and manufacturing moving units for railways and the subway and their components with Egyptian thought and creativity and with the national manufacturing capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, which contributes to achieving sustainable development and various development projects.
