Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and Mr. Eric Chevallier, French Ambassador to Cairo, witnessed the signing of a new contract to strengthen areas of partnership between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the French company Dassault in the field of defense industries, as part of the activities of the second day of the Arab Organization for Industrialization's participation in the EDEX 2025 exhibition
In this context, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif expressed his appreciation for strengthening areas of cooperation and industrial integration with the French global company Dassault, emphasizing the Arab Organization for Industrialization's interest in localizing technology, attracting investments, and increasing local manufacturing rates by leveraging its advanced manufacturing capabilities, in line with Egypt's Vision for Sustainable Development 2030.
He added that this step strengthens Egypt's position as a leading industrial destination in the field of advanced manufacturing.
He pointed out that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is currently one of the supply chains for the French company Dassault, through the manufacture of spare parts in accordance with the standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
He noted that cooperation is strong in the areas of manufacturing certain components of Dassault products in accordance with international quality standards through the engine factory, one of the factories of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, whose board of directors is chaired by Major General Engineer Jamal Ramadan. He added that we look forward to the factories and companies of the Arab Organization for Industrialization becoming an advanced industrial hub to enhance cooperation, partnership, and exchange of expertise with the French company Dassault, in order to meet all local needs and export to sisterly and friendly countries.
For his part, Mr. Eric Chevallier, French Ambassador to Cairo, praised the important role played by the Arab Organization for Industrialization in the field of strategic industries, stressing that the Republic of France welcomes and supports everything that promotes cooperation between the two countries and opens up prospects for investment, exchange of expertise, and integration between the two sides, This would benefit both friendly peoples, he said, noting that France is looking to take advantage of the AMI's significant investment potential to become an industrial hub for increasing French exports to Arab and African countries, thereby contributing to increasing the targeted volume of trade between the two countries in the coming period.
For her part, Ms. Annelise Dallut, General Manager of Dassault Aviation in Egypt, praised the important role played by the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state in the field of defense and civil industries, stressing the importance of supporting cooperation between the two sides and opening up prospects for investment and exchange of expertise.
She pointed out the importance of taking advantage of the advanced manufacturing capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to serve as an industrial hub for increasing Dassault's exports to Arab and African countries.
She added that the French company Dassault has strict requirements for quality, operation, and production, which are met in practice at the Arab Organization for Industrialization's Engine factory. In a related context, the French Dassault delegation inspected the Arab Organization for Industrialization's pavilion, expressing their admiration for the progress and development of products with a mindset that suits the mechanisms of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
