The distinguished position and leading role of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in localizing the latest technologies in the field of defense industries has been a strong incentive for major international companies to cooperate and establish partnerships with it.
In this context, and during the first day of the Arab Organization for Industrialization's successful participation in the
EDEX 2025 International Defense Industries Exhibition (EDEX 2025) a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Aircraft Factory, one of the Arab Organization for Industrialization's factories, and the Chinese company Norinco.
During the signing of the memorandum of understanding, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, expressed his appreciation for the cooperation with the Chinese company Norinco, explaining that the areas of cooperation include localizing technology and deepening local manufacturing of defense industry systems by leveraging the advanced manufacturing capabilities of the aircraft factory. He noted that we look forward to the Arab Organization for Industrialization's factories becoming a hub for strengthening cooperation, partnership, and exchange of expertise with China's Norinco, in order to meet all local and international defense industry needs. For their part, senior officials of China's Norinco expressed their pride in cooperating and forming partnerships with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state,
affirming that the memorandum of understanding signed today is the beginning of further cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization in many advanced defense industries.
