Deepening the local manufacturing of integrated natural gas refueling stations

Lieutenant-General Abdel  Moneim Al-Terras, Chairman  of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the importance of implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to strengthen all efforts to convert vehicles and operate them to work with natural gas, pointing to strengthening our manufacturing capabilities and settling modern technology in this field in accordance with the latest mechanisms of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital transformation. .

 

This came during the signing of a cooperation protocol between Arab Industrialization, "Carbon" Holding Company, and "Woodlands" Energy Services Company.

In this regard, Al-Terrace explained that with this cooperation we aim to deepen the local manufacturing of integrated “Woodserv” stations to supply cars, buses and remote areas with compressed natural gas, praising the advanced technical and technological expertise of “Carbon” Holding Company and “Woodlands” Energy Services Company.

 

The "Terrace" indicated that it was agreed to gradually increase the proportions of the local component to reach 70% for the control panels, tanks, distribution group and compressor group, to save the expenses of importing the components that enter this industry, and to work on reducing imports and localizing this industry in a way that contributes to strengthening the plan The state to operate and convert vehicles to run on natural gas.

 

He added that it was agreed to take advantage of the materials and equipment produced by Arab Industrialization, to design and manufacture the inclusions of this industry's technologies, in accordance with international quality standards and at competitive market prices.

The "Terrace" stated that the areas of cooperation aim to meet the needs of the local market, and to expand in the future to the African and Arab markets.

 

For his part, Ahmed Al Kharashi, CEO of Carbon Holdings, confirmed that the Egyptian market has become attractive to Emirati investments, praising the pivotal role played by the Arab Organization for Industrialization in introducing the latest production technologies to the Egyptian industry and deepening local manufacturing in accordance with international quality standards.

 

In turn, Mr. Abdullah Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Woodlands Energy Services, pointed out the importance of cooperation with Arab Industrialization to deepen local manufacturing and localize modern technology in the field of natural gas uses and its requirements in vehicles.
