Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, inaugurated the Mobile Phone Towers Manufacturing Center at the organization's aircraft factory, in the presence of Major General Engineer "Abdel Rahman Abdel Azim Othman", General  Director of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Major General Engineer "Tarek Abdel Fattah Mohamed Hassan", Chairman of  the Aircraft Factory, and a number of company presidents and sector heads.

This step comes within the successful and continuous steps taken by the Arab Organization for Industrialization to localize technology and increase local manufacturing rates, and manufacture what is currently imported under the slogan (Made in Egypt).).

In this context, Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the interest in localizing the technology of manufacturing mobile phone towers, pointing to the modernization and development of production lines with the latest CNC digital manufacturing machines, as the center includes the latest production lines in the world from CNC digital machines for forming and cutting corners. Engineers and technicians were trained according to the latest standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution inside and outside the Republic.

He added that the aircraft factory affiliated to the Arab Organization for Industrialization succeeded in manufacturing mobile phone communication towers, with a 100% local manufacturing rate, noting that it has begun supplying many of the needs of Etisalat Misr for these towers. To meet the company's increasing requirements for these towers. The manufacturing and supply of (67) communication towers for Etisalat Misr was completed by the end of June 2024 through a framework agreement signed between Etisalat Misr and the aircraft factory, and the manufacturing and supply of (70) towers for Etisalat Misr is currently underway for delivery by the end of September 2024. Coordination is currently underway to sign memorandums of understanding with Telecom Egypt and major companies operating in the field of communications in the Arab Republic of Egypt to expand the quantitative production of communication towers.

He pointed out that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is looking forward to enhancing cooperation with all Egyptian companies working in the field of communications, in addition to developing integrated smart solutions in the fields of design, manufacturing and assembly with Egyptian thought and creativity and with the national manufacturing capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, for all communications towers to meet the needs of the local market, in addition to exporting to African and Arab countries.
