  • The Arab Timber Industries Company  (ATICO) is one of the fully-owned factories by the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI).

  • The Factory is located on an area of 30 acres in within Abu Zaabal city, with a front of 700 meters overlooking the Ismailia Agricultural Road

  • The Factory was established in 1978 with the name of the Arab Wood Industries Company (ATICO) through a joint Egyptian-Saudi partnered investment.

  • The Arab Organization for Industrialization acquired the factory in 1998.

  • The Factory employees 250, with different specializations.

  • Profits of the Factory are worth an average of L.E.120 million pounds.


Acquisition of a line of CNC machines for rotating / punching / cutting / sealing adhesive for office and hotel furniture production, at high quality and reasonable cost.



  • The Factory has full production lines, which are considered as feeding industry, such as:

-The production line of gray board sheets covered with melamine, which is one of the grandest lines in the Arab Republic of Egypt, with production capacity ranging between 1,500-2,000 sheets/day.

-The CNC digital machine line includes 5-dimensional router / perforating machine / scraping pasting / cutting

-A production line for parquet wood from beech and oak at different sizes (nailed / pasted).

  • The Factory is known for its accumulated experiences in the field of manufacturing hotel and office furniture. The Factory has furnished many Egyptian ministries, bodies and universities; for example:

    • The National Authority for Social Insurance / The National Food Safety Authority / The National Post Authority / The General Authority for Land Ports.

    • Ministry of Social Solidarity / Ministry of International Cooperation

    • Buildings of the government district in the new administrative capital

    • The Japanese University / Banha University / Tanta / South Valley / Zagazig / Mansoura

    • Many hotels and tourist villages in the Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh cities

  • The Factory possesses highly-qualified human cadres specialized in designing and implementation of furniture with the latest automated technologies (multi-purpose CNC machines).
