1. TYPES OF WEED MACHINES

These machines clean the weed screen automatically and are installed in front of the pumping stations outlet of the ministry of irrigation, electricity station and drinking water stations by means of a control unit (PLC) that can be programmed according to the conditions of each outlet.

1.Overhead Monorail type, weed screen cleaning machines: 

Machine components: (Track - Trolley - Grab - Winch - Control panel - Pendant control until - control system - connection cables)

• Track: it is designed according to the dimensions and loads of each station separately and consists of number of vertical columns and a track beam with a length that matches the length of the station platform and the maintenance and unloading areas. It also contains a maintenance platform.
• trolley: it has a winch to lifting and lowering Grab and Hydraulic system to open and close Grab and an Electric Generator to achieve complete protection of trolley and control of all machine movements.
• Grab: capacity 0.5 m³- load 500 kg consists of two jaws that open and closed hydraulically.
• Control panel: contains indicators, switches, protection devices and control unit (PLC).
• Connection Cables: connects electrical power and control signals necessary for the machine.
• Operating systems: Automatic / Semi-Automatic / Manual.

 Weed screen: It is made of steel it's surface is treated with paint or hot deep Galvanization, or it is made of stainless steel.

2.Gantry type , weed screen cleaning machines equipped with:

An articulated arm and unloading onto a set of conveyor belts, Model: WSCM-G500/AA/BC

OR with a Telescopic arm and it is unloading onto a set of conveyor belts, Model: WSCM-G500/TA/BC.

Machine components:

 Mobile chassis on rails, Control panel, Articulated or telescopic arm, Connection cables, Rake and hydraulic system, Night lighting, Traverse drive system, Means of protection

Weed screen: It is made of steel and it's surface is treated with point or hot deep galvanization or it is made of stainless steel.

3.Chain type, Weed screen cleaning machines:

• These machines contain a horizontal belt, and another inclined belt perform by transporting the weeds to the unloading area.
• It contains a winch for maintenance purposes.​​​​​​​
• The machines comb the weed screen from bottom to top lifting the weeds and unloading them onto the horizontal conveyor belt which transports them to the inclined belt to lift it to the unloading area.
