Visit the University of Hertfordshire to Arab Industrialization

Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to achieve integration between universities, scientific research bodies and national industrial institutions, noting that Egyptian youth receive great attention from the political leadership, within the framework of Egypt's vision for sustainable development 2030. And the establishment of stable principles for the new republic based on empowering the youth as the locomotive that leads the movement of progress in the development of societies.

 

This came within the framework of the visit of the professors and students of the British University of Hertfordshire in the new administrative capital to the headquarters of the Arab Presidency for Industrialization and inspected a number of its industrial units, with the participation of Dr. Deans of faculties, as well as a number of its students in different scientific disciplines.

 

In this regard, the "Terrace" expressed its pride in visiting the University of Hertfordshire as an opportunity to enhance the true image of the capabilities of the Egyptian industry in universities and scientific institutions, praising the integrated system of engineering education and scientific research in the various colleges of the prestigious university, and its serious vision in various engineering and scientific fields and many Applied research projects.

The team, "Abdel Moneim Al-Terras" was keen to open an open dialogue with professors and students of the University of "Hertfordshire", noting that the Arab Organization for Industrialization represents the industrial back-up of the Egyptian state for the settlement of technology, manufacturing and development according to the standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, stressing the interest of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in strengthening joint cooperation with the University. Hertfordshire, and supporting the link between industrial and research entities in the fields of training and scientific research to transform research outputs into applied models that can be used in various industrial fields.

 

The Lieutenant-General  stressed the importance of modern scientific disciplines at the prestigious University of Hertfordshire in the fields of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, computer science and artificial intelligence, noting that these disciplines represent future sciences for all industries, as well as building smart cities and promoting digital transformation in all areas of life.

He added that Arab Industrialization has developed an ambitious plan to localize modern digital technology in all fields of industry, as well as training human cadres according to the latest automated management systems for industries, which need trained minds to absorb operating and maintenance systems according to the latest standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

In a related context, the "Terrace" expressed its great confidence in the Egyptian youth who are able to absorb the latest technological technologies, deepen experiences and competency system in digital transformation and artificial intelligence in various fields of manufacturing.

 

During an inspection of the exhibition of the products of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Dr. "Vincent Emery" praised the manufacturing and technical capabilities of the authority and the richness and diversity of its defense and civil products, praising the administrative capital and the size of the national achievements and projects that Egypt is witnessing under the chairmanship of President "Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi" and the continuous support of scientific institutions to stimulate serious scientific research to serve Egyptian industry fields.

For his part, Engineer Alaa Atta expressed his appreciation to Al Arabiya Industrialization, the country's industrial back-up, and its fruitful cooperation with various scientific institutions to deepen local industrialization, and to benefit from all scientific research and studies to localize modern digital technology.

The visit also included a visit to the training academy of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, where he briefed the professors and students of the University of "Hertfordshire" on the systems for training and qualifying human cadres in all fields of industry, management, information systems, communication technology, smart automated management mechanisms, and training on programmed machines.

Then Hertfordshire students went to the electronics factory of the Arab Industrialization, where they inspected the production lines of tablets, computers, interactive screens, electronic devices, surveillance cameras and other requirements of advanced smart electronic devices.
