On the second day of the Alamein International Air and Space Show 2026, the pavilion of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) attracted significant interest from official delegations and major global institutions and companies. These entities sought to sign agreements and memoranda of understanding aimed at bolstering partnerships with the AOI.

Major General Eng.  Mohamed Abd Elfatah Abo Bakr    , Chairman of the AOI, emphasized the organization's commitment to implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. These directives focus on forging substantive partnerships with leading global companies, enhancing investment opportunities, and opening new export channels to friendly and allied nations, in alignment with Egypt’s Sustainable Development Strategy: Vision 2030.

He noted that the AOI retains its international status, granting it the flexibility to activate partnerships with major corporations. He also underscored the organization's dedication to upgrading and modernizing its manufacturing capabilities, as well as training and qualifying its workforce in accordance with the latest global standards.

He added that the AOI maintains close cooperation with universities and specialized scientific centers, a collaboration that contributes to product development through advanced digital manufacturing processes.

In this context, several agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed, including... Signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Acme.

Signing an MOU with the French company Airbus Helicopters.

Signing an MOU with the Chinese company FlightWin.

Signing a contract with the Turkish company Havelsan.

Discussions were also held regarding technology localization in the aerospace and defense sectors with the Head of the Turkish Defense Industries.

Many participating official delegations visited the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) pavilion, expressing their admiration for the organization's advanced manufacturing capabilities. These delegations included:

The Minister of Defense of Uganda;

The Chief of Staff of Mauritania;

The Commander of the Algerian Air Force;

The Commander of the Yemeni Air Force and Air Defense;

The Air Force Commander of Namibia and the Namibian Ambassador to Cairo;

The Deputy Commander of the Pakistan Air Force.

Major General Engineer Abdel Rahman Abdel Azim Othman, Director General of the AOI, also visited the UAE pavilion to discuss ways to enhance cooperation.

Meetings were held with several companies, including:

The Bulgarian company Hades;

The Indian company Zen Technologies Limited.
