The partnership between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the largest Romanian companies

Lieutenant General, "Abdel Moneim Al-Terras," Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the importance of cooperation and benefiting from the distinguished experiences of the friendly Romania in many areas of manufacturing, stressing the directives of President "Abdel-Fattah Al-Sisi" to the authority to participate in the transfer and localization of technology in various manufacturing fields, in cooperation with experiences Globalism .

This came during the visit of Mr. "Gabriel Tutsu" General Manager of the Roman Arum Company, Mr. "Viorel Manol" Executive Director of the Romanian company Patrommel and officials of the Romanian companies, including the Romanian company of their Titan, and in the presence of the Ambassador "Mihai Stephan Stubaro", the Romanian Ambassador in Cairo.

This visit comes within the framework of strengthening all aspects of cooperation and investment and the desire of the Romanian side to open horizons for cooperation and industrialization in Egypt in light of the current investment climate in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Romania's membership of the European Union and Egypt's presidency of the African Union.

The meeting witnessed the signing of a number of memoranda of understanding, and presented the vision of the Arab Organization for Industrialization on deepening local industrialization through cooperation with Romanian companies and identifying mechanisms to enhance cooperation prospects in the areas of joint manufacturing in many different fields of industry and an agreement to exchange visits to identify the capabilities and needs and the possibility of transfer and localization of technology And training human cadres and joint manufacturing in the field of defense and security industries, armored vehicles and maintenance, modernization of production lines, as well as the manufacture of equipment requirements for rail cars and smart city traffic management, and Digital transformation and information systems.

In this regard, the "Terrace" stressed the support of the political leadership to deepen cooperation and benefit from technology and exchange of experiences with the friendly Romania, stressing the authority's interest in expanding horizons of international partnerships and cooperation with major international companies in implementing development projects in accordance with the latest systems of the fourth industrial revolution and increasing investment opportunities in Egypt .

He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is looking to enhance cooperation in the industrial field in order to take advantage of the advanced Romanian technology and industrial capabilities available in the organization to maximize the proportions of the local component and increase the added value in the local industry, in addition to increasing competitive opportunities to market the joint production of Arabia for industrialization and Romanian companies in the Egyptian and Arab market And African countries, as well as the possibility of exporting these products to African countries by benefiting from trade agreements and free trade areas such as "COMESA" in order to meet the needs of African markets.

For his part, "Gabriel Tutsu" expressed the aspiration of the company "Rom Arm" to open new horizons for investment and enhance cooperation and manufacturing jointly with Egypt, praising the industrial and technical capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization and its role in providing the requirements of the Egyptian armed forces and the richness and diversity of their defense and civil products and joint use, and this is what we felt Close while we were attending the IDEX International Defense Exhibition held in Cairo at the end of 2018.

Also, "Viorel Manol" pointed out that Romanian companies are keen to conclude more partnerships with "Arab Industrialization" in areas of mutual interest such as factory equipment, radiation sensors and chemicals, with which we have previous cooperation with them in many manufacturing fields, stressing that the authority represents one of the pillars of industry Egyptian and they will have a special place in the way of strengthening this cooperation.

In turn, "Mihai Stephan Stubaro" stressed that what we are witnessing is a historical moment to deepen economic relations between Egypt and Romania, in light of Romania's presidency of the European Union as well as Egypt's presidency of the African Union, which gives an important strategic dimension to this cooperation, indicating the interest of the Romanian government to transfer and exchange experiences and enter into Projects for joint industrialization, within the framework of the safe climate that attracts investments, which Egypt is currently witnessing.
