Lieutenant General Abdel Moneim El-Terras, head of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, emphasized the importance of implementing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to strengthen constructive cooperation between state industrial institutions and to exploit national manufacturing capabilities to deepen local manufacturing and localize the technology for manufacturing equipment for operating and converting vehicles to work with natural gas.
This came during the signing of the cooperation protocol between Arab Industrialization and Saadeddin Group of companies.
In this regard, "Al-Terras" stated that with this cooperation we aim to deepen the manufacture of tanks, operating groups and converting vehicles to work with natural gas, through the establishment of companies working in these fields, in partnership between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Saadeddin Group of companies and international experiences in this field.
The "terrace" indicated that it was agreed to increase the percentages of the local component for the production and manufacture of compressed natural gas tanks used in vehicles of all kinds, in order to save the costs of importing the components that enter this industry, and to work to reduce imports to save huge sums of hard currency, and to localize this industry in a way that contributes to Promote the state's plan to operate and convert vehicles to run on natural gas.
He added that it was agreed to make use of the materials and equipment produced by Al Arabia for industrialization, to design and manufacture cylinders, shipping, operating and converting groups for vehicles to work with natural gas, as well as manufacturing vehicle equipment for tankers operating in the delivery and supply of compressed natural gas and gas transportation operations, in accordance with international quality standards and market prices. Competitiveness.
The "Terrace" stated that the areas of cooperation are aimed at meeting the needs of the local market and national projects and expanding in the future to African and Arab markets.
For his part, Dr. Muhammad Saad Eddin, Chairman of the Saadeddin Group of Companies, praised the pivotal role played by the Arab Organization for Industrialization in introducing the latest production technologies and deepening local manufacturing in accordance with international quality standards.
He pointed to the importance of strengthening cooperation with Arab Industrialization to reduce the economics of manufacturing natural gas tanks, as part of the government's intention to enhance all efforts to convert vehicles and operate them to work with natural gas.
