During the meeting, Major General, Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, gave an integrated presentation on the development plan of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressing at the outset that the authority aims to continuous development and add various modern technologies in production lines, according to the latest global technologies in this regard, in addition to continued cooperation and coordination. With various research bodies in the country and abroad, with a commitment to the societal role of the authority in various possible fields, especially with regard to the implementation of many training programs, rehabilitation, sponsorship of innovations, and other matters related to the social role, pointing also to the authority's interest in deepening the industrial base, in order to maximize its role And its diverse capabilities for integrated industrial services, based on a set of sound scientific, technical and economic foundations, in order to achieve the state’s strategic and future policies, programs and projects.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister stressed the pivotal role of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in the national industrial sector, as it is a major industrial and technological edifice, and one of the most important industrial entities that would contribute to the development of local production and increase its competitiveness, pointing to its main role also in implementing Many national and development projects adopted by the state during this stage.

Major General Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif indicated that the development plan of the Arab Organization for Industrialization includes what is related to the modernization and development of production lines, as well as what is related to the rehabilitation of the human element. Including the development of the electronics factory, which witnessed a number of development works, including the replacement of one of the assembly lines for surface components with the latest line from the “Japanese Fuji” company in accordance with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is characterized by the ability to assemble all micro-components (micro) and to update research technological capabilities with the latest A machine for manufacturing multi-layer printed electronic cards from the German company "LPKF", in addition to cooperating in the production of personal computers, tablets and mobile phones, and equipping 4 production lines with a production capacity of 700 thousand devices / year.

Major General Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif added that the development of the electronics factory included cooperation with the company "Zerotech" for security systems in the field of surveillance cameras, for 22 different models using artificial intelligence technology, and 65,000 cameras were produced, and it is targeted to produce 120,000 cameras by the end of this year, He revealed that he had obtained a certificate from the Federation of Egyptian Industries for a camera production line with a local manufacturing rate of 41%, and that more than 40 different parties had been contracted to supply camera systems and recording devices.

 

The Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization stated that the fourth phase of the national project to replace sodium headlights with LED lights was completed at the level of the Republic, with a total of 3.1 million lights, which contributed to saving electricity consumption, and 3,000 "High Must" lights were supplied to light the road. Ismailia Agricultural, as well as the supply of 4,000 scouts (60 x 60) for the "Dignified Life" project, indicating that some contracts are being implemented in accordance with the demands.

 In the field of encouraging startups (young innovators), Major General Engineer Mukhtar Abdel Latif referred to the manufacturing of the smart board device, where 550 units were produced and marketed, and it is planned to reach 2,000 devices by the end of this year.

Regarding the production position of the meters, the Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization indicated that, in cooperation with a German company, the production of a smart water meter that works with ultrasonic technology is underway, and is characterized by no need for maintenance, or calibration, while quickly collecting data, accurate calculation of consumption, and accurately locating leakage sites. He also pointed to the production of 79,000 meters equipped with a unit for disconnecting and operating the electric current for street lighting poles, and the ability of this meter to operate a number of 40 lighting poles, adding that the meter was developed with drivers that allow the transmission of operating data to the central operating room.

With regard to the development of the “Qader” factory, the head of the Arab Organization for Industrialization explained that 2 plastic injection machines (400 tons/1300 tons) and their own molds were added, in order to implement a project to produce 15 million sugar cane seedlings for the Ministry of Agriculture, in Aswan Governorate, Pointing out that this will contribute to saving 40% of fertilizers and 50% of water, in addition to saving 60 planting days.

The Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization also touched on the establishment of the Arab German Company for Secure Traffic Plates, which aims to produce, manufacture and supply insured traffic plates for cars, motorcycles and any other means of transportation for the Ministry of the Interior, as well as exporting abroad (Africa and the Middle East), with a production capacity of 3 Millions of plates/year for one shift.
