This successful step comes within an integrated plan pursued by the Arab Organization for Industrialization to implement the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to increase local manufacturing rates, localize technology, reduce imports and increase value added in accordance with the specifications and standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and increase investment opportunities in partnership with major companies and global expertise.

Within the framework of the opening activities, which is a new achievement for the Egyptian industry and confirms the ability of the national industry to keep pace with global development and transfer and localize technology, all steps and efforts made in cooperation between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the German Tongs Company were reviewed to establish this industrial edifice integrated with the latest digital manufacturing technology and training of human cadres, The features of the secured traffic board were also reviewed, as it conforms to international specifications in terms of quality of materials and multiple insurance signs (laser engraving - holograms - watermarks - barcodes - ....), and RFID technology can be added to the boards in line with intelligent transportation systems, The company’s production lines operate with a production capacity of 3 million plates annually per shift, which was established according to the latest German international expertise, to manufacture car and vehicle plates with the latest global technology secured in this field.

For his part, Major General Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, confirmed that the opening of the Arab German Company for Secure Traffic Boards is a new successful step, in which the authority affirms its leadership in localizing the latest modern technologies in the industry, in implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives, on the need to enhance opportunities Investment, deepening local manufacturing in various industries, and increasing the added value.

Abdel Latif praised the cooperation with the German company Tongs, which is one of the largest international companies specialized in the manufacture of secure traffic metal plates, as aspects of cooperation included the management of the latest German-made machines and production lines and the transfer of modern digital technology compatible with the intelligent transportation system.

He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization aims to meet all the needs of the Ministry of Interior of insured traffic plates for all types of vehicles, at competitive prices, and then expand in the future to export to African and Arab countries, especially with Egypt signing many free trade agreements with many African and Arab countries, which qualifies it to become a center To export insured traffic metal plates to African and Arab countries, as well as providing many job opportunities for young engineers and technicians.

Abdul Latif also stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation to meet the needs of the brothers in the countries of the African continent in terms of secure traffic signs, transfer of technical expertise, and training of human cadres through the training centers of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

In turn, Engineer Mohamed Mohamed Salah El-Din, Minister of State for Military Production, stated that the Ministry of Military Production places at the forefront of its priority work to increase cooperation with the private sector, ministries and various Egyptian industrial bodies, the most important of which is the Arab Organization for Industrialization. He stressed that the plate factory opened by the Arab Organization for Industrialization is the first line of its kind to manufacture insured vehicle plates using German technology and Egyptian hands, to be compatible with the intelligent transportation system.

During the inspection of the production lines of the Arab German Company for insured traffic signs, the attendees praised the development of manufacturing technology, the precision and the efficiency of human cadres.
