The Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization is discussing with the Minister of Technology and Science of the Republic of Zambia Enhancing cooperation in many fields

In a visit that reflects Egypt's pioneering role in the African region, and its keenness to enhance aspects of cooperation, integration and partnership with our African brothers, Major General. Engineer "Mokhtar Abdel Latif", Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Mr. "Felix C. Mutati", Minister of Technology and Science of the Republic of Zambia, and the accompanying delegation, in the presence of Dr. "Khaled Ibrahim", Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Information and Communication Technology Industry, and the accompanying delegation from the Chamber.

 

During the visit, joint discussions were held to enhance cooperation mechanisms and take advantage of the advanced capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in the fields of communications, electronics, digital transformation, pioneering technological solutions, information protection and security, and support for industrially applicable innovations, as well as identifying the proposed aspects of cooperation between the two sides in various fields of industrialization and the transfer of the Egyptian experience. It also emphasized the desire of the Zambian side to benefit from the expertise of Arab Industrialization in the field of training human cadres in Zambia, especially in the fields of communications, science, technology and digitization.

 

During his inspection of the electronics factory of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the Minister of Technology and Science of the sisterly Republic of Zambia affirmed his country's keenness to strengthen partnership and cooperation relations with Egypt as a leading country in the African continent, praising Egypt's history and experiences by saying, "You are a nation with minds and you have strong shoulders that can carry Africa and push it forward."

The Zambian minister praised the factory's various products, including electronic and interactive screens, tablets, laptops, surveillance cameras, electronic counters, and others, expressing his country's aspiration to open marketing outlets in the Republic of Zambia for the various products of Arabia Manufacturing and to benefit from its expertise in increasing local manufacturing rates.

He also made it clear that we aim for Zambia to become a beacon of technology and digitization like Egypt, especially since we want to emulate the Egyptian experience in the field of digital transformation and technology to the State of Zambia to achieve what we called the "Zambia Digital Triangle", pointing to the importance of benefiting from the expertise of the Arab Organization for Industrialization in developing the infrastructure in Zambia We cross the stage of technology and digitization by relying on pioneering solutions and empowering government services and entrepreneurship for companies in Zambia with sustainable digital solutions.

 

For his part, Major General, Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation and partnerships with the countries of the African continent, and implementing the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to open new horizons of cooperation and integration with African brothers in all industrial fields. And economic, and open new outlets for export in Africa.

Abdul Latif explained that the Arab Organization for Industrialization puts all its capabilities and technical and technological expertise to meet the needs of our brothers and participate in development projects in the sisterly Republic of Zambia, explaining that the authority has an ambitious plan to meet all the needs of the local and African market with the latest electronic products and the development and modernization of infrastructure technology, and assistance in transferring And applying the latest digital solutions for government services in Zambia.

 

He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization expresses its welcome to enhance cooperation with the brothers in the Republic of Zambia in the field of training courses through the Authority’s training academy and centers, in a way that supports bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, appreciating the serious and continuous cooperation with the Chamber of Information and Communication Technology Industry to exchange experiences and enhance Egypt’s position on the map.
