The Chairman of the AOI discusses with the Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa in Cairo enhancing cooperation in various fields of manufacturing

Major General. Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received Mr. Ntsiki Mashimbye, Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa in Cairo, as part of joint discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation and partnership and increasing investment opportunities in all areas of manufacturing.

 

The discussions dealt with, studying investment and commercial partnership opportunities and discussing strengthening cooperation mechanisms in various manufacturing fields, including defense and civil industries, infrastructure, new energy, communications, electronics, digital transformation processes, artificial intelligence, surveillance cameras and other various fields of industry, in addition to agreeing to train human cadres of engineers and technicians in the Republic. In this context, Major General. Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif stressed the implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to enhance cooperation and integration with our African brothers, noting that Arab Industrialization is keen to achieve communication and exchange of experiences with all African countries.

 

He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is looking forward to enhancing investment opportunities with major South African companies through its industrial vision to localize technology and deepen local manufacturing to meet the needs of the local market and the giant development projects that Egypt is witnessing, as well as export to African and Arab countries.

 

For his part, Mr. Ntsiki Mashimbye, Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to Cairo, praised the unprecedented development projects that Egypt is witnessing within the framework of the new republic, and the important role played by the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of Egypt in various industries, stressing the Republic of South Africa’s welcome and support. For everything that supports ways of cooperation between the two countries, opening investment horizons, exchanging experiences and integration between the two sides, for the benefit of the two friendly peoples, he expressed his aspiration to the importance of inviting major companies and investors in South Africa to inspect the units and companies of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to discuss benefiting from the great investment potential in the AOI , to be An industrial hub to increase South Africa's exports to Arab and African countries, thus contributing to increasing the volume of targeted trade exchange between the two countries during the coming period.
