Successful and continuous steps taken by the Arab Organization for Industrialization to localize technology, increase local manufacturing rates, reduce imports, and increase added value in various industries, in addition to attracting investments in partnership with major international companies.
In this context, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, The Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received H.E Mr. Suresh K. Reddy, Ambassador of the Republic of India to Cairo.
The discussions addressed exploring ways to leverage the advanced manufacturing capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the distinguished expertise of Indian industry in the automotive industry, feeder industries, environmentally friendly transportation, railways, renewable energy, water treatment plants, electronics, digital transformation, software, communications, information technology, smart meters, medical devices, furniture, and various manufacturing fields in this regard, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif explained that the Arab Organization for Industrialization looks forward to strengthening joint cooperation and increasing investment and partnership opportunities in new industrial fields, noting that it welcomes cooperation with specialized Indian companies wishing to invest and expand in Egypt as a gateway to African, Arab, and Middle Eastern markets.
He expressed his aspiration to invite major companies and investors in the friendly Republic of India to visit the factories and companies of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state, to explore the significant investment opportunities available in the organization, thereby contributing to increasing the targeted trade volume between the two countries in the coming period. This would contribute to establishing promising industrial partnerships and opening up prospects for investment, exchange of expertise, and integration between the two sides.
For his part,H.E Mr. Suresh K. Reddy, Ambassador of the Republic of India to Cairo, praised the important role played by the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state, in all areas of manufacturing, emphasizing the Republic of India's welcome and support for everything that supports cooperation between the two countries and opens up prospects for investment, exchange of expertise, and integration between the two sides, which would benefit the two friendly peoples. He pointed to exploring the potential of the Arab Organization for Industrialization's advanced investment capabilities to serve as an industrial hub for increasing India's exports to Arab and African countries.
