The Chairman of the AOI and the Minister of Civil Aviation witness the signing of a joint cooperation protocol to provide aviation simulators and modern and advanced training methods.

Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation, witnessed the signing of a joint cooperation protocol between the organization's electronics factory and the holding company of the Egyptian Academy of Aviation Sciences.

This protocol represents an important step toward achieving self-sufficiency in high-tech training tools in the aviation sector and reducing reliance on imported simulators.

This will contribute to the qualification and training of civil aviation personnel at the highest level of competence, enhancing Egypt's position as a regional center for specialized civil aviation training.

It also seeks to certify these simulators internationally and market them commercially at the regional and global levels.

During the signing ceremony, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif expressed his appreciation and pride in this cooperation with the Ministry of Civil Aviation and its support for all aspects of joint cooperation. He emphasized the Arab Organization for Industrialization's interest in localizing technology, increasing local manufacturing rates, reducing imports, and promoting the "Made in Egypt" slogan.

He explained that the agreed-upon areas of cooperation include providing modern and advanced training methods and aviation science simulators for comprehensive air traffic control, meeting the needs and aspirations of the Egyptian Aviation Academy Holding Company.

This will be achieved through smart, integrated solutions in design and manufacturing at competitive prices.

He noted that this represents a breakthrough in the field of advanced software manufacturing worldwide, thanks to the complete manufacture of simulators, in cooperation between the electronics factory affiliated with the Arab Organization for Industrialization and an Egyptian private sector company.

He stated that the AOI  has succeeded in providing distinguished industrial models that provide a realistic simulation experience for all air traffic control services. He noted the AOI's commitment to ensuring that the work environment within the simulator is completely identical to the actual work environment within air traffic control towers, to ensure that trainees are prepared and qualified with a high level of competence, enabling them to begin their duties in real towers immediately upon graduation, without the need for additional training acclimatization periods.

He added that the Electronics Factory offers a training model that rivals the best in the world. The standards of all international training centers have been adopted, ensuring they are aligned with the specifics of the actual work environment.

The system also focuses on achieving the highest levels of occupational safety and health, creating a training environment that emulates international standards and conforms to the latest approved codes.

For his part, Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation, emphasized that signing this protocol represents a qualitative step toward supporting the specialized technical training system in the aviation sector and linking educational and scientific research outcomes to the actual needs of the industry.

He noted that developing training tools through locally manufactured simulators is one of the strategic pillars for building a sustainable training infrastructure that meets international standards.

The Minister of Civil Aviation also praised this cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, which has played a historic role in all areas of industry, of which we are proud since its establishment. He expressed his aspiration to localize technology and provide Egyptian products of aviation science simulators, emphasizing that this cooperation will represent a significant addition to the Egyptian economy and to the national manufacturing capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, in accordance with the latest international quality standards.
