The Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) continues its successful efforts to strengthen partnerships with major international companies, in line with a clear vision to attract investment and increase export rates, as pillars of the national economy, in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 for Sustainable Development.
In this context, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the AOI and the South Korean global company Samkwang.
During the signing ceremony, Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdellatif, Chairman of the AOI, expressed his appreciation and pride in this cooperation with Samkwang, praising its global manufacturing expertise in various manufacturing fields.
He noted that this cooperation represents an important step towards deepening local manufacturing and localizing the latest technologies by leveraging the advanced manufacturing capabilities of AOI factories and companies.
He highlighted the importance of achieving joint integration and implementing industrial investment projects that enhance trade exchange and serve comprehensive development plans.
He stated that they agreed to cooperate in several industrial fields, including defense industries, Automotive and Industrial Parts Sector , Electronics and Industrial Equipment Sector , digital transformation, Payment Terminal Sector , and other topics of mutual interest.
He explained that we aim to meet the needs of the local market, which will contribute to reducing dependence on imports, in addition to opening export outlets to foreign markets with products that meet international quality standards and competitive market prices. He noted that they agreed to begin implementation steps for manufacturing according to clear timelines.
For their part, senior officials from the South Korean global company Samkwang expressed their appreciation for this cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the industrial backbone of the Egyptian state.
They expressed their aspiration to achieve industrial and commercial integration, implement investment projects, work to meet the needs of the local market, and work to open new export outlets to foreign markets.
They also praised the Arab Organization for Industrialization's commitment to all international quality standards, demonstrated by its distinguished expertise in implementing various industrial and economic development projects.
