Tawfiq, Morsi and Al-Terras witness the signing of cooperation protocols in the field of wood supply

Mr. Hisham Tawfiq, Minister of Public Business Sector, Engineer Mohamed Ahmed Morsi, Minister of State for Military Production, and Lieutenant General Abdel Moneim El-Terras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, witnessed the signing of cooperation protocols in the field of wood supply.

 

The protocols were signed between the Commercial Wood Company of the Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport - one of the companies of the Ministry of Public Business Sector - and the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the Helwan Company for Engineering Industries (Military Factory 99) affiliated to the Ministry of Military Production, and the Egyptian National Company for Development and Industrial Development of the National Service Projects Authority. The Armed Forces, in the presence of Major General Salah El Din Helmy, Chairman of the Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport.

 

Mr. Hisham Tawfiq, Minister of Public Business Sector, welcomed the continuation of fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Military Production, the Arab Organization for Industrialization, and the National Service Projects Organization to support the national industry, as part of the efforts to promote the Commercial Wood Company and implement an ambitious strategy to contribute to securing Egypt's imports of timber. To provide the raw material inputs required for expansion in the manufacture of furniture and other wood products due to the increasing demand for these inputs, which represent a large part of the import bill, which leads to the opening of new markets for Egyptian furniture and wood products at home and abroad, increasing investment in the manufacture of furniture and wood products, and increasing exports from them.

 

The Minister "Tawfiq" assured that the Trading Company for Wood has great experience in the field of importing, trading, supplying and manufacturing all kinds of wood, and it has strong relations with the largest wood producers around the world, indicating that according to these protocols, the Commercial Wood Company provides all the necessary needs of all wood. Types thereof, which are required by the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Helwan Company for Engineering Industries, and the Egyptian National Company for Development and Industrial Development.

 

For his part, Engineer Mohamed Ahmed Morsi, Minister of State for Military Production, explained that the signing of this protocol reflects the integration between "military production" and the various industrial entities in the country, expressing the Ministry of Military Production's aspiration to cooperate with the Ministry of the Public Business Sector through the Commercial Wood Company, which is one of the oldest And the oldest Egyptian companies working in the field of importing, supplying and manufacturing wood.

 

Minister Morsi indicated that according to the protocol signed between the two sides, the necessary requirements of all kinds of wood will be provided to Helwan Engineering Industries (Military Factory 99), which is one of the most prominent companies operating in the field of engineering industries and has been operating since the fifties, noting that the mission of the Ministry of Production The main war is to meet the needs of the Egyptian Armed Forces, and in addition to that, the Ministry of Military Production is keen to maximize the benefit from the surplus productive capacities of its various companies in order to meet the citizens' needs of various civilian products and contribute to the implementation of many national and development projects that contribute to achieving sustainable and comprehensive development of the state. .

 

Lieutenant General Abdel Moneim El-Terras, head of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, emphasized the implementation of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to strengthen constructive cooperation between state institutions and the optimal use of national manufacturing capabilities as the best way to achieve comprehensive development, appreciating the serious cooperation with the Ministry of Business Sector, to deepen local industrialization in many areas Different industry according to the latest international quality systems.

 

The "Terrace" referred to an agreement with the Trading Company for Wood to supply all the needs of the Arab units for manufacturing from the best types of wood and reasonable prices, stressing the importance of quality, accuracy, reasonable price and commitment to delivery dates, and pointing to the importance of this agreement in a project.
