Today, Lieutenant-General "Abdul Moneim Al-Terras "Chairman  of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, , received Lieutenant-General Mirghani Idris Suleiman, Head of the Defense Industries System of the State of Sudan, as part of the activities of the third day of EDEX 2021.

During the meeting, a protocol was signed to enhance cooperation mechanisms and benefit from the advanced capabilities of Arabic for industrialization to meet all the needs of development projects and defense and security industries in the State of Sudan, in addition to training human cadres.

In addition to forming a joint technical committee to study the available capabilities and identify the proposed aspects of cooperation between the two sides in various different fields of manufacturing in accordance with the latest systems of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

For his part, General "Mirghani Idris", head of the defense industries system of the State of Sudan, affirmed his country's keenness to strengthen partnership and cooperation relations with Egypt in all industrial and development fields and to benefit from Egypt's capabilities in the field of manufacturing in order to modernize its industrial system.

Idris explained the importance of benefiting from the expertise of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to deepen local industrialization and localize modern technology in various development projects in Sudan, including infrastructure modernization, water and sewage projects, electronics, renewable energy and digital transformation, as well as training Sudanese human cadres in advanced training centers in Arabic for industrialization.

For his  part, the "Terrace" stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation with the countries of the African continent, and implementing the directives of President "Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi" to open new horizons of cooperation and integration in all industrial and economic fields.

The "Terrace" also indicated that the Arab Organization for Industrialization puts all its expertise and human and technological capabilities into cooperation and partnership with our brothers in the sisterly State of Sudan in all fields of defense and civil manufacturing, industrial research, exchange of experiences, training and rehabilitation of Sudanese human cadres at Arab Training Centers for Industrialization, according to the latest modern digital training systems.
