Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras, Chairman  of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, indicated that cooperation with the international German company Battenfeld includes the transfer of technical expertise, training of human cadres, and the localization of the technology for the production of polyethylene pipes used in all infrastructure projects for new cities and the Administrative Capital, water purification and desalination projects, sewage networks and connecting water networks. For disadvantaged villages in the governorates and the initiative for a decent life, as well as natural gas pipelines and their accessories.

This came within the framework of signing a contract between the Helwan Factory of Arabia for Industrialization and the German international company Battenfeld, to manage polyethylene production lines of new diameters.

In this regard, Dr. Eng. Mujahid Al-Farmawy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Helwan Factory, praised the cooperation with the German international company Battenfeld, by modernizing polyethylene pipe production lines and increasing their production capacity to reach medium diameters from 315 mm to 1200 mm, and training human cadres, noting that The Chairman  of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, supported to develop production lines to become digital lines that are controlled according to the latest modern scientific systems.

For their part, the German company Battenfeld officials praised the technological capabilities and technical expertise of the Arab Organization for Industrialization and its role in supporting development projects in Egypt, stressing the support and promotion of all work to develop polyethylene pipe production lines and train human cadres according to the latest global industrial systems.
