Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and lieutenant-general, Abdel Moneim El-Terrass, President of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, witnessed, through video conference technology, the signing of a cooperation protocol between Arab Industrialization and the National Post Authority

The signing of the protocol comes within the framework of optimal utilization of local resources and capabilities in a manner consistent with the state’s policy of favoring the local product and rationalizing financial resources, as well as developing postal services by taking advantage of the distinct capabilities and manufacturing capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

In this regard, the "terrace" emphasized the implementation of the directives of President "Abdel Fattah El-Sisi" to enhance constructive cooperation between state institutions and the exploitation of national manufacturing capabilities to enhance the state's plan to deepen local industrialization and reduce imports in various areas of industrialization.

The “Terrace” also explained that the development of postal services and the management of the postal authority’s requirements for money transport vehicles armored with standard specifications were discussed, as well as manufacturing mobile mail cars equipped with ATM machines to serve places where there are no post offices or remote areas in order to reduce the density of post offices where they are distinguished These cars provide all electronic services, monitoring and automatic control systems, and digital transformation to quickly meet the needs of citizens in all financial, government and postal services.

He added that it was also agreed to manage ATM machines, electronic points of sale (POS), medical protection supplies, surveillance camera systems, control rooms, networks, computers, office furniture, electric vehicles, passenger cars, solar stations, energy-saving systems, smart water provider systems, sports devices, and raise efficiency and maintenance Post offices according to the latest modern technologies.

The “Terrace” also stressed the deepening of local manufacturing and the exploitation of all industrial capabilities in Arabic for manufacturing to meet all the needs of the postal authority at reasonable prices and speed of implementation in accordance with international quality standards, stressing that after-sales service is a sustainable responsibility of all the projects of the authority.

For his part, Dr. "Amr Talaat" stressed the importance of utilizing the industrial capacities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to meet all the needs of the National Post Authority, within the framework of the state's interest in encouraging local industry and supporting the national product; Praising the advanced capabilities and technical expertise enjoyed by Arab Industrialization.

He added that this cooperation will contribute to pushing forward the processes of implementing the Egyptian postal development plan in line with the vital role it plays as one of the ports provided for Egypt's digital services; In addition to his role in promoting financial inclusion through his offices spanning the Republic.

Dr. Sherif Farouk, head of the National Post Authority, explained that the Arab Organization for Industrialization has technical expertise and overcome any obstacles in order to achieve all areas of cooperation with the required efficiency and the highest levels of quality and speed in implementation, explaining that this cooperation contributes to achieving the vision of the Postal Authority and the implementation of its strategic plans for transformation To a sophisticated development institution, which includes a comprehensive plan to modernize and develop postal services to upgrade its services and expand its customer base.
