Joint discussions to enhance cooperation between the AOI And the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport

The Arab Organization for Industrialization believes in the importance of achieving integration between national industrial institutions, universities and scientific research bodies, in order to achieve the state’s plan to deepen and increase the rates of local manufacturing and localize technology in accordance with Egypt’s vision for sustainable development 2030.

On this topic, discussions took place today between Major General. Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman  of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, and the participating delegation of specialists from the AOI  and the Academy.

In this context, Major General. Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif expressed his pride in the joint and constructive cooperation between the two sides, pointing out the distinction of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport in the integrated system of education and scientific research, its integrated vision in various engineering and scientific fields and many applied research projects. , which can provide support for applicable industrial innovations to serve various manufacturing sectors, and access to industrial products with high added value in many research fields.

He stressed the importance of strengthening joint cooperation in the field of training human cadres, especially in the fields of digitization and artificial intelligence, and benefiting from the capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization Academy in organizing specialized training courses to develop and develop the skills of human cadres in accordance with the modern technological capabilities of advanced digital machines.

In a related context, Major General., Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, explained that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is putting all its capabilities and technological expertise to enhance digital transformation and manage all the needs of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.

 

For his part, His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar expressed his pride in the constructive cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

In transforming research and scientific outputs into applied models that can be used in various industrial fields and qualifying graduates with distinguished skills that qualify them for the labor market.

Abdel Ghaffar noted that there are many fields in which the academy can excel in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, such as the fields of solar energy, industrial design, green hydrogen, and the advanced technical fields of mechatronics, communications, electronics, artificial intelligence, robotics,

engineering design, and cybersecurity.

The two parties agreed to hold workshops between specialists from the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport for further cooperation and achieving a marriage between science and applied industry..
