In a Press Conference following the inauguration of the "Digital Manufacturing Center

of the "Digital Manufacturing Center" at the Engines Factory in Helwan of the "Arab Organization for Industrialization", in the presence of Eng. Ahmed Samir, Minister of Trade and Industry, and Major General. Eng. Moktar Abdellatif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

The Prime Minister started the press conference by noting that he witnessed today the inauguration of the Digital Manufacturing Center of the Motors Center of the "Arab Organization for Industrialization", expressing his great happiness with this step because this center is "extremely important" for deepening and localizing the local industry, and this is the goal that His Excellency the President directed. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, the government and all state agencies, to work on it.

The Prime Minister added: This new edifice contains the latest and most complex machines that modern global technology has reached in manufacturing the components of a large number of products, including water pumps, which are used in water purification plants, sewage and industrial sewage plants, as this production will be used in "Project of the Century", the presidential initiative, "A decent life" to develop the Egyptian countryside, explaining that our needs for pumps are huge, as we need from 2500 to 3000 pumps annually.

The Prime Minister indicated that we were importing these numbers of pumps, which was placing a great burden on us with regard to providing the hard currency needed to import these pumps. Hence the directives of the President of the Republic to localize the manufacture of these pumps locally with the continuation of the implementation of the projects of the presidential initiative “a decent life.” Especially with the need for these projects, after that, for maintenance work, renewal and replacement of spare parts for these pumps.

The Prime Minister said: I listened to the explanation of the female and male engineers of the center about the working mechanism of these machines, which contribute greatly to saving a lot of time and effort, pointing out that with the traditional manufacturing system, it was possible for us to produce from separate factories about 25 pumps per month, today we reach 200 pumps per month, i.e. 8 times as much.

He stressed the importance of these modern technologies and the need to qualify Egyptian youth to work on them and to have this type of factories and infrastructure, which contributes to strengthening the capabilities of the Egyptian state to move towards the implementation of giant projects.

He continued, “As we have seen today, models of stations designed locally to suit our conditions, such as small sewage stations that can be established in estates and dependencies, as well as industrial sewage stations for some remote areas, as well as well water treatment plants that have a high salinity rate, along with The many other industrial purposes that this giant edifice can work on.

The Prime Minister indicated that all measures taken come within the framework of accelerating the state's pace to encourage and support the industrial sector, pointing to the recent meeting with the Minister of Trade and Industry, during which the basic features of the Egyptian industry development strategy were reviewed, in order to double Egyptian exports. Industry sector in particular.

The Prime Minister noted the state's efforts to support this vital sector, including with regard to activating obtaining the "golden license", noting that during the last meeting of the Council of Ministers 8 golden licenses were approved, saying: "There will be a weekly presentation to the Council of Ministers, seeking to expedite the issuance of licenses for projects that enjoy the golden license system,” stressing that the aim of this is to support the Egyptian industry, and to accelerate the localization and deepening of the local industry during the next stage, in light of the current global crisis, which, whether long or short, we must rely on industrialization And maintenance and renewal of our various equipment, in order to keep pace with the rapid development processes that the country is moving in various sectors.

The Prime Minister renewed his thanks to all those in charge of this giant edifice, expressing his happiness at the explanation he heard from a number of young Egyptian engineers, calling for permanent success for such joyful models of young men
