Establishing a giant industrial entity to manufacture optical fiber cables

The Minister of Trade and Industry and Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone and Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization witnessed the cooperation agreement ceremony between Bennaya Capital and Arab Industrialization Company. Bunya Capital (previously Viber Egypt for Communications and Information Technology), a leader in communications and information technology solutions and services and technological infrastructure in Egypt and the region, has announced its partnership with the Arab Organization for Industrialization to establish the largest plant for Lat fiber optic in Egypt and the Arab and African region, the size of investments exceed one billion pounds, in the economic area of ​​the Suez Canal.

This agreement comes within the framework of the Arab Organization for Industrialization strategy to implement the country's plan to deepen local industrialization, technology localization and reduce imports, in partnership with global expertise.

In this regard, lieutenant-general  , "Abdel Moneim El-Terras", President of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the implementation of the directives of President "Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi" to deepen local industrialization, transfer and localization of modern technology and work to reduce imports, which contributes to increasing the added value of Egyptian products and achieving digitization of all giant development projects .

In a related context, Al-Terras indicated that Arab Industrialization is keen on continuing the production process and managing the production wheel through the production of sterilization units and protective requirements in order to support the state in taking all precautionary measures and measures to prevent the emerging corona virus.

For his part, Eng. Ahmed Makki, Chairman and CEO of Banaa Capital, explained that this cooperation is the first of its kind in Egypt to achieve smart digitization of giant digital projects, indicating that we are targeting the development of technological infrastructure in all development projects and related IT solutions and services.
