Major General., Engineer Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, stressed the implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to achieve integration between national industrial institutions, universities and scientific research institutions, in order to achieve the state's plan to deepen and increase local manufacturing rates, localize technology and reduce imports according to For Egypt's Vision 2030, indicating that the Arab Industrialization puts all its technological capabilities and expertise to promote digital transformation and manage all the needs of universities and educational and research institutions.

This came during the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and Helwan University.

In this regard, "Mokhtar Abdel Latif" praised the integrated system of education and scientific research at Helwan University, its integrated vision in various engineering and scientific fields and many applied research projects, which can provide support for applicable industrial innovations to serve the various manufacturing sectors, and access to industrial products with High added value in many research fields, including new and renewable energy systems, electric and hybrid cars, mechatronics and medical engineering.

  He added that it was agreed to organize training courses in common fields and summer training programs in various engineering disciplines in the production and research units of the authority, as well as training human cadres in Arabic for industrialization in specialized courses at Helwan University.

In a related context, Mokhtar Abdel Latif explained that Arab Industrialization puts all its capabilities and technological expertise to promote digital transformation and manage all the needs of Helwan University.

For his part, Dr. "El-Sayed Qandil", President of Helwan University, stressed the importance of the role of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, the great and difference in the Egyptian industry, and that it is a pride for all Arabs, which made Helwan University keen to sign a cooperation protocol with the Organization, and it is a great honor to extend cooperation between Helwan University and the Arab Industrialization to all fields that serve the future of students, as well as benefiting from the authority’s great expertise in transforming research and scientific output into projects that contribute to strengthening the building of the new republic under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

"Qandil" expressed his confidence in the success of this cooperation due to the continuous support provided by the Arab Organization for Industrialization to various scientific institutions in the fields of training and scientific research to convert research outputs into applied models that can be used in various industrial fields and qualify students for the labor market, indicating that Helwan University It is looking forward to meeting all the needs and requirements of university faculties and research centers through the advanced smart products of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

Kandil noted that there are many fields in which the university can be distinguished in cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, such as biofuels, alternative energy, solar energy, cybersecurity, medical industrial design, green hydrogen production, artificial intelligence, cement problem solving, and the field of Space and satellites.
