Lieutenant General Abdel Moneim El-Terras, head of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, emphasized the importance of implementing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to strengthen constructive cooperation between state industrial institutions and to exploit national manufacturing capabilities to deepen local manufacturing and localize the technology for manufacturing equipment for operating and converting vehicles to work with natural gas.

This came during the signing of two cooperation protocols between Arab Industrialization and Citadel Capital Consulting Company on the one hand, and ASEC Company for Manufacturing and Industrial Projects, and Arab Energy Company on the other hand.

In this regard, the "Terrace" stressed the importance of cooperation with the Citadel Company, which plays a serious national investment role in many important projects in various fields, praising cooperation with ASEC, which is one of the largest companies working in the field of equipment manufacturing and has expertise in the field of manufacturing containers. Al-Terras explained that with this cooperation, we aim to deepen manufacturing tanks, operating groups and converting vehicles to run with natural gas, by establishing a line for manufacturing natural gas cylinders necessary for use in cars and heavy transport vehicles that use natural gas as fuel.

Al-Terras indicated that it was agreed to localize the technology for the production and manufacture of compressed natural gas cylinders used in vehicles of all kinds, in order to save the costs of importing the components that enter this industry, and to work to reduce imports to save huge sums of hard currency, and to fully localize this industry in Egypt, which contributes to In promoting the state's plan to operate and convert vehicles to run on natural gas.

In a related context, the "Terrace" stressed the importance of cooperation with the Arab Energy Company, which is one of the largest companies working in the field of distributing energy of all kinds and marketing petroleum products.

Al-Terras explained that it was agreed to cooperate to establish auto fuel stations with compressed natural gas with its components, according to a timetable to be agreed upon, through the Master Gas Company, which is owned by an Arab energy company, and is characterized by an integrated network of fuel stations and vehicle conversion centers.

He added that the areas of cooperation also include the supply and installation of equipment for the activity of converting and supplying cars with compressed natural gas, as well as equipment maintenance work, management and operation of stations, supply of spare parts and equipping centers for converting vehicles to work with compressed natural gas.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Hassanein Heikal, Chairman of the Citadel Company, praised the pivotal role the Arab Organization for Industrialization plays in introducing the latest production technologies and deepening local manufacturing in accordance with international quality standards.

He pointed to the importance of strengthening cooperation with Arab Industrialization to reduce the economics of manufacturing natural gas tanks, within the framework of the government's intention to strengthen all efforts to convert vehicles and operate them to work with natural gas.

In turn, Eng. Hazem Mohamed Nour, managing director of ASEC, praised the role of Arabia for Industrialization and its technological and human expertise that enables it to achieve all areas of cooperation with the required efficiency and the highest levels of quality and speed in implementation and delivery in the specified time.
