    According to the three-year protocol on developing joint cooperation between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Ministry of Higher Education through the implementation of a number of programs and training and research activities, digital transformation and electronic services, participation in technical and vocational training to prepare technical labor for the labor market, support and sponsorship of student projects, and manufacture of applicable innovations Industrial.

It also provides for the organization of training courses in the common areas and the preparation of workshops and laboratories, in addition to organizing field visits for students of engineering colleges of various Arab units for industrialization.

In this context, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar praised the fruitful and constructive cooperation with the Arab Organization for Industrialization as one of the pillars of the Egyptian industry, and possesses expertise and great potential through which it can contribute to the development of research and training sectors in higher education institutions in accordance with international quality standards.

He added that joint research projects aim at reaching high-quality Egyptian products and supplying the Arab industrial bodies for industrialization with scientific results, praising the authority’s efforts to raise the levels of local manufacturing in various fields of industry.

For his part, Al-Terras confirmed the interest of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to cooperate with all universities and research authorities to achieve the maximum investment for national scientific talents and cadres and support research projects and industrial innovations that are applicable to serve the various manufacturing sectors, indicating that the protocol will contribute to reducing the gap between the university and industry and support innovations for the youth of Egypt .

"The Terrace" stressed the importance of developing and training technical workers, preparing them for the labor market, and meeting the needs of industry and development, pointing out that technical education is the next industrial shift and the first tool for operating factories.

On the other hand, the Minister of Higher Education and Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization visited the exhibition of products and manufacturing capabilities of the Authority, and during the tour, lieutenant-general “The Terrace” announced the start of local production of medical devices in the units of the Authority, such as medical isolation rooms, sterilization devices, thermal examination and protection supplies according to international specifications, in implementation The directives of President "Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi to transfer and localize modern technology and deepen local industrialization in this industry to face the repercussions of the emerging Corona virus.

The “terrace” explained that the sterilization devices, thermal examination and medical isolation rooms were manufactured according to the requirements of the World Health Organization, and the sterilization rooms are characterized by their use of fog technology that does not affect the respiratory system of humans, and the thermal detection unit features a digital camera to measure the temperature of the human being and televised from several angles It takes only 5 seconds.

The medical isolation rooms also contain all urgent health procedures, such as respirators, oxygen, air suction and an electrocardiogram, and it also includes a digital camera for communication between the patient and his family via Wi-Fi technology to the Internet.
