A new partnership and continuous cooperation between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and a Benya Company to market Arab Industrialization products in African countries

Benya announced a new alliance with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, aimed at increasing the penetration of Arab products for industrialization to the African market, and providing new services and products to citizens of different African countries, in line with the Egyptian state's vision of opening up to Africa and strengthening joint cooperation with the countries of the brown continent.

 

This came on the sidelines of the Forum of Heads of African Investment Authorities, on June 11-14, 2021 in Sharm El-Sheikh under the slogan "Integration for Growth", which was launched in line with the entry into force of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement at the beginning of this year, which aims to: Establishing a single African market to be one of the largest commercial markets in the world, with a trade exchange volume of 3 trillion US dollars.

 

This joint cooperation comes within the framework of supporting the efforts of the Egyptian political leadership and state institutions in drawing up and activating joint political and economic relations with the countries of the African continent, and laying down the principles of regional cooperation at all levels, especially in the areas of investment and sustainable development.

 

Under this joint alliance, Benya is launching a new company called Benya Trade, where it promotes and markets the services and products of the Arab Organization for Industrialization to African countries, in its capacity as an agent for the authority in those countries within the framework of Bennyah's expansion to serve the African market in various fields and services. And in line with Benya's horizontal expansion plan in this market, this alliance is also part of Benny's role towards supporting the single African market.

 

In this regard, Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al-Terras, Chairman  of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, explained that this trend towards the African market comes based on the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and in the context of what the Egyptian government attaches to the importance of strengthening cooperation with African countries, noting that this alliance The new company with "Benya" is the result of the Authority's plan to expand marketing services and increase penetration into the African market, in various fields of goods and services, which provides many job opportunities and maximizes the return on investment.

The "Terrace" also stressed that the Arab Organization for Industrialization puts all its technical and technological capabilities and expertise to meet comprehensive development projects in the countries of our African continent, as well as exchanging experiences and training human cadres at the advanced training academy of the Arab Organization for Industrialization.

 

For his part, Eng. Ahmed Makki, Chairman and CEO of Benya, affirmed that the company has ambitious expansion plans in the African markets and is working to implement them with steady steps, in line with the country’s digital transformation plans and Egypt’s Vision 2030, pointing out that “Benya has participated in a fundamentally important role in several national projects, foremost of which is education and infrastructure, during the last period. He stressed that in addition to continuing this role locally, it seeks to expand it in the countries of the region, especially African countries, because of its strategic importance and national dimension. In light of the orientations of the political leadership to maximize Egypt's developmental role towards its neighbors on the continent, as it is considered a virgin area with promising investment opportunities.

 

In a related context, it is noteworthy that this joint alliance comes as a reinforcement of successful partnerships and an extension of the continuous and fruitful cooperation initiated by "BeAnya" with the Arab Organization for Industrialization, where, during the past year, it signed a partnership contract in order to establish the largest factory in the Middle East and Africa for the production of fiber-optic cables, with investments Exceeding one billion pounds, as the factory was strategically located in the heart of the economic zone of the Suez Canal, and production is planned to start during the second quarter of 2022, and it mainly contributes to deepening local manufacturing, transferring and settling modern technology and working to reduce imports, which contributes to increasing the value Added to Egyptian products, and another partnership was signed during the current year to establish a specialized entity for the manufacture of joint metal towers to meet the needs of the local market of metal towers for the telecommunications and electricity sectors to keep pace with modern designs for smart cities and meet the needs of development projects inside Egypt, in addition to opening export outlets for the African region and the Middle East .
