Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim El-Terras, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, received Mr. Sergey Tirtentyev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Cairo.
During the meeting, the Arab Industrialization vision was presented on deepening local industrialization, transfer and localization of technology in many different areas of industry, including training, especially since there is joint cooperation between the Arab Organization for Industrialization and the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences in the fields of training, scientific research and innovation.
They also discussed strengthening cooperation mechanisms in the field of defense and civil industries, including the fields of railways and the modernization of train cars, in addition to the industries of trucks, agricultural equipment, loaders and tractors, grain storage silos, engines, electronics, digital transformation processes and artificial intelligence, in addition to discussing the participation of Belarusian companies in the national projects that they implement. The state, including modifying obsolete cars, especially microbuses, and converting them into environmentally friendly cars using natural gas.

In this regard, the "Terrace" stressed the importance of implementing President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to localize technology in cooperation with international expertise, pointing to the importance of investing in the depth and strength of relations between "Cairo and Minsk" through the Egyptian-Belarusian Committee and how to benefit from them to open new horizons for joint cooperation in the fields of Different manufacturing.
He added that the Arab Organization for Industrialization is looking forward to strengthening joint cooperation with major Belarusian companies, to deepen local manufacturing and increase the added value in the local industry, pointing to the discussion of increasing competitive opportunities for marketing joint production of Arab manufacturing and Belarusian companies in the Egyptian, Arab and African market, as well as the possibility of exporting these products to countries. African countries are making use of trade agreements and free trade zones such as "COMESA" in order to meet the needs of African markets.

For his part, "Sergey Tirtentyev" praised the tremendous capabilities of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, which encourages major Belarusian companies to cooperate and exchange experiences between them, stressing that this visit aims to discuss establishing new long-term joint partnerships in all areas of industry and training human cadres.
 "Tertentyev" expressed the aspiration of Belarusian companies to participate with the Egyptian industrial establishments, especially the Arab Organization for Industrialization, to implement major national development projects in accordance with international quality standards.
